I thought you could pick them anytime, but a max of 4

I would think the easiest criteria for a minor league player is if they can still qualify for ROY, then they be considered a minor league player...too hard to speculate on who SHOULD be in the majors as of opening day

Just saw people asking about the minor league stuff. As far as I know this is how it should be. Trout can give final confirmation, but this is how we discussed in the thread.

Everybody is fair game at anytime. The player must be in the minors to use that spot. If a player makes the team out of spring training, then he will not be available to place in a minor slot. If you have a player in a minor league spot that starts the year in AAA and then gets called up, he must be placed onto your active roster, dropped or traded to make sure your stay at the roster limit. The 4 minor league spots can be kept year to year.

I agree with this part, my only question was who is a minor leaguer, someone like Jesus Montero still has ROTY eligibility I think, but he is almost I would think a 100% lock to be on the big league roster in Seattle.
