BBB is right, we just wanted the orders we were drafting in to hone a strategy for picking in that spot. For all of the mocks we talk about I always thought it was a solid idea to know...am I early? am I late? Who's likely to be there etc your right though, if we did it earlier someone would have taken Mathews and be pissed off right now. But not as pissed as I am. I traded for these last month

Ronnie Brown is the starter now. Either way, Mathews is back by week 3 at the latest and Brinkley is void of talent.

yeah, i think brown can make it the 2-3 games before Mathews gets back. Prior to this injury, I don't even think Brinkley was expected to make the team.

yeah, he was going to be the #3 back regardless. Based on his carries last night over Jackie Battle, I would say he is a lock. Plus, he has one card. So 50 yds and a TD, and it goes up big time.

Never defend Demarco for that. I knew collecting him that it was bound to happen. It happened in rookie camp when he hurt his hammy and at the end of the year
