Default Need some help proving a Lesean Mccoy fantasy point

Hey all,

I need some help proving that Mccoy's improvement in 2011 wasn't a fluke.
I remember reading that he did some offseason stuff to improve his strength and speed significantly. But I have googled and looked pretty hard, and can't seem to find the information that I remember reading.

Does anyone remember the specifics of what Mccoy did before 2011 to become faster and stronger?
Your help is GREATLY appreciated.

could it have been a better offensive line? Or because he wanted a new contract and played harder? You can't attribute it all to better training

It may not have been a fluke, but didn't andy reid said he overused mccoy last year? If so, that means he won't get the same touches this coming year

LeSean McCoy himself will help you prove it wasn't a fluke by duplicating his performance throughout this season .

McCoy had a pretty close 2010 and 2011 season. He actually had a higher ypc in 2010. The thing that made his 2011 campaign as big of a success as it was was him finding the endzone and being utilized more in the passing game. More reps = more yards. Plus the Eagles didn't have Vick for about half the season in 2010, so defenses were able to contain Shady since there wasn't as big of a passing/running threat with Kolb.

It's nothing special he did, it was just natural progression, being centered and better incorporated in the game plan, and having a QB to take pressure off him.

He was actually used WAY less in the passing game. He had 78 receptions for 592 yards in 2010 and was down to 48 receptions for 315 yards. He actually had more total yards in 2010

He had an extra 70 or so carries and not having Vick vulture all the rushing TDs helped a bunch. Vicks rushing TDs dropped by 8 and McCoys increased by 10.

I think everyone's goal is to improve their speed and strength during the off season..

McCoy has always been a great back.
