Default How bad did I screw up my draft?

My plan was to sit back and let people overspend and then get a ton of talent at values, problem was that a few guys took that strategy and it made those guys not a good value.

12 team league, non-ppr, standard scoring

QB: Matt Schaub
RB: Darren Sproles
RB: Benjarvis Green-Ellis
WR: AJ Green
WR: Dwayne Bowe
RB/WR: Antonio Brown
WR/TE: Percy Harvin
TE: Jared Cook
Bench: Andrew Luck
Bench: Torrey Smith
Bench: Jonathan Stewart
Bench: Deangelo Williams
Bench: Greg Olsen
Bench: Brandon Lafell
Bench: Kendall Hunter

I figure I've got a lot of nice talent that should be consistent at WR, my RB's are shaky, which is why I doubled up on Stew and Deangelo, I'd hate for one to get hurt cause I'm a Panthers fan, but if one does, the other becomes a top 10 RB. I really didn't want 4 Panthers though, try to never have any but they were all my last picks and got them for great prices and were among the best available.

I lack the top level talent unless Sproles can be a top 10 back again, but I feel like I'm loaded up with just solid 8-12 pt per game players, and a consistent scoring team like that can win over the long haul.

Guess I'm going to have to work for it to win this year as I walked out of our draft last year with the championship, quite literally

Lot of Panthers players. I would go ahead and switch out Stewart and Williams.

I hate taking them because I hate not playing them when it's a toss up, but they literally were the best players available and got them for real cheap. I guess it's not the worst thing because the Panthers had the #7 offense last year and only got better, problem is that I don't have the 2 best players, just the rest.

I'm keeping both for now because if one goes down, the other is a top 10 RB and even if they're both healthy, either could be a decent flex option really

Your wide receivers look very good. However, I don't like your running backs and you have a middle of the pack quaterback. I would say you will have a tough time hanging with the big dogs in the league. Good luck, it's all a crap-shoot anyway, one injury to a bigtime player and it can throw your whole season away!

Since I tend to go stars and scrubs and then load up on high-upside guys for my bench, I say you will have a very long year.

He was in an auction draft.

You took 3 too many Panthers. Also, why aren't you in a PPR league with Sproles? You're killing yourself right there. PPR is the only way I play anymore.

Hey now, that's not nice. It was an auction draft, after all. That team is pretty heinous though. On the bright side, the RB position is not deep at all, so who knows who'll break out.

I was just joshin.

True true, i mean, The only REAL options at RB were Rice, Foster, Forte.

And people who have been reliable in the past like AP and Marshawn Lynch are now questionable.

and then theres Richardson.

But now alot of teams have two RB's that share, which takes a toll on fantasy.

It wasn't, honestly, I hate drafting Panthers

But my friends hate drafting them if they don't have to because they hate rooting for the Panthers because of me. So I got better than great value on all of them. 12 team , 17 roster spots, $300 draft and I got Deangelo for $2, Olsen for $1, Lafell for $4, and Stewart for I think $10

They were the best players available at the positions I needed with each of them

Since you got so many panther players I would check out their bye week and hopefully have someone to cover them if you wanna keep them

well they're all on my bench as of now anyways, but I'm just hoping I have a few other byes that same week.

I'm a fan of having as many players on bye as you can, lose one week rather than be missing a key player or two every week for a month
