Default Need to Trade for a WR...How to Go About It

Here's my roster, biggest scoring notes are 1 point per 20 yds/rushing or receiving/50 yards passing and ALL touchdowns are worth 6 points.

WR corps in FA seems awfully weak.

I'm tempted to trade Jimmy Graham for a top WR and take my chances on a Kyle Rudolph or Dennis Pitta.

Eli Manning
Ray Rice
Ryan Mathews
Dwayne Bowe
Antonio Brown
Donnie Avery (I know)
Jimmy Graham
Justin Tucker
Texans D/ST

Joe Flacco (6th in league in points so far amongst QBs)
Stevan Ridley
Kevin Smith (probably gonna be released soon)
Pierre Garcon (This dude's gotta get HEALTHY!)

Jimmy Graham and the entire New Orleans offense looks like crap these days so you'd be selling low to move him today but I could see me doing something here like that except it's platoon committee approach or no moves for me. You need both of those guys to replace Graham. I wouldn't trust just one or the other since they are unproven but I could see going with both of them to replace Graham and if some other unknown TE comes along moving one of those two guys for a producing player with a committee approach. Only if you commit two roster spots then go for it, so here's what you do....

Drop him. Why is he rostered? That's one

And there is your second drop to me. He didn't even show up last week. You use those two roster spots and pickup Pitta and Rudolph and then trade Graham for a WR. Watch the waiver wire for another TE if either of those two stop producing (chances are one of them will slow down)

One last thing...

He's scaring me. He's not practicing yet and it's been 3 weeks. Don't give up on him yet but times wasting. If he's going to play again this year he needs to start practicing. If he doesn't practice soon then move him before word comes out he is out for the year

Well if anything I figure TE is a position I can get away with making a "platoon" position more than any other.

It especially hurts this week because I won't be able to trade for a WR in time and Antonio Brown has the week off meaning if Garcon is not healthy it's Bowe and basically nobody.

Who's on your WW? I can't tell you who to pickup unless I know. Post the top scoring Wide Receivers there now

What you could do is dump one of those two other guys for a single TE you want of the two. That makes it look to others like your not looking to move Graham and are just looking for a Bye Week fill in for now so you still come from a position of strength when you trade Graham later and pickup a WR with the other spot your trading out of then next week pick up your second TE when you move Graham

Nate Washington (Ten - WR)
Randall Cobb (GB - WR)

Neither of those two guys should be on anyone's WW. If you want to go with the home run then pickup Cobb, If you want the surer bet then Washington is your guy. Last week he has 112 yards and a TD and last season he was a stud. Cobb is the wild card, Washington is a sure thing.

Mike Williams (TB - WR)
Andrew Hawkins (Cin - WR)

Now both of those guys are interesting to me but for different reasons. Hawkins needs to show a little more consistency to make me a believer but as a slot WR he's been very very good this season. I still am not sure what to make of Mike Williams or Josh Freeman this season. This week that entire offense is on life support and really needs to step up and do something or else that whole Tampa team should be dropped.

I would go with Washington myself this week and then move Graham for a better WR next week

You could probably handcuff Garcon with Hankerson.
