I agree but when people come to just one forum and no others they don't want to see stuff like this if there is another place for it. I for one visit all the forums except hockey and use the new posts tab at the top so it doesn't really bother me but to others they might not have the same type of feeling towards it

Look...I admit that I messed up by asking my question on the wrong section, however me personally it does not bother me if someone asks a football related question that may not have to do with cards, but still is about football. There are far more important issues out there than someone asking a fantasy football question in the football section reserved for card questions. And honestly if it upsets people that much you need to re-evaluate your priorities.

It's not that it upsets people, it's just common sense. It's like the people who bum rush the elevator when the doors open and don't give people a chance to get off. When you lack common sense, you deserve to be ridiculed.

There is a sticky at the top of the section that says where Fantasy question should go. And, this is not a Fantasy forum. If you were to post in a Fantasy forum, you would get so many replies it would make your head spin. Finally, your question was stupid and anyone who has played FF past 1 year wouldn't even bother asking that question.

Everyone lacks common sense at some point but that does not mean they "deserved to be ridiculed". Maybe the right thing to do is educate the person in his or her misundertanding or "lack of common sense" instead of making fun of them. Try to do the grown up thing. The PO immediately knew he was wrong and apologize. There was no need to ridicule him. If the PO continued to be an azz, then it is a different story.

Seriously, you must be a genius and win your leagues every year if that question was "stupid" as you call it. Something tells me I have been playing FF long before you were even born, and your analogy about the elevator and this issue is as you say stupid.
