I thought snagging minor leaguers was kind of a free for all once the major league rosters were filled?

yes however theheel has not completed his 4 minor leaguers yet so he'll get first pick

Shouldn't have to draft a legal roster position wise, not sure you even have to start every position as long as your within roster limits?

I was looking over your team and I hate to tell you this but................weak sauce my friend. I know one thing that is for sure, you will be finishing second at best in your own division.

unfortunately, I have to agree...I took a lot of chances of players having breakout years...plus I kept wavering on what my strategy was going to be....drafting 14th each round didn't help either

I think any changes to the draft for next year should be made before the allstar game this year...I don't want any changes again before the draft

You never can tell who you are going to get major contributions from, especially with injuries in play.

The trash talking can begin my friend...I'm setting y'all up with my excuses early so if I don't win, I can say I knew that I was taking chances with the draft....

still sooooo early in spring training, who knows who will be injured, suspended or both.......but I need Hart, Ike or kendry to solidify my 1B

Good luck at 1ST base with those guys.

I went to 1ST base with my first pick in the draft and went with Hosmer. Hope he has a solid return to form but I like his power and speed, with speed not something you usually get from that position. It helps being really young too.

Hosmer was a good pick, I got antsy with all the 1B being taken in the 1st rd...I shoulda just waited and taken someone like konerko later on in the draft

so how active is everyone in the league as far as trades go? Does everyone fill out trading blocks or just kind of pm for interest?

I am sure most would have waiting to pick Ike or Hosmer until the middle rounds but I was thin at the position and felt it was my biggest need, so I too went with 1ST base in the first round.

I am fairly active with trades. Your best bet, especially before the season, is to send a message here along with an offer. To me it is a lot of fun, just like trading cards.
