My Fantasy Championship matchup. Opinions wanted

Well I made it to the championship even though my team has been riddled with injuries. I have had to pick up a qb, rb and wr due to injuries. So far it has worked out for me. Here is my team and my opponets team. Lmk if you think I have a shot at winning. The preview has me favored to win by 18 points but I think it will be close. He has a good team but some of his guys have tough matchups while a few of mine have easy ones.

My team:

QB- Alex Smith (had to pick him up)
RB- Chris Johnson
RB- Jerome Harrison (had to pick him up)
WR- Andre Johnson
WR- Steve Smith (Panthers)
WR- Chris Chambers (had to pick him up)
TE- Tony Gonzales
K- David Akers
DST- Packers

His Team:

QB- Aaron Rodgers
RB- AP
RB- Thomas Jones
WR- Miles Austin
WR- Greg Jennings
WR- T.J. Housch.
TE- Jermichael Finley
K- Garrett Hartley
DST- Vikings

RB- Chris Johnson - hope he goes big here

WR- Andre Johnson - always as stud!
WR- Steve Smith (Panthers) - Giants D tough matchup
WR- Chris Chambers (had to pick him up) - not sure who he's playing anymore, but gotta do what you've gotta do
TE- Tony Gonzales - a few td's will help, but always a solid play
K- David Akers - Eagles are at home, but its an outside game
DST- Packers - GB at home against Seattle should be a good play

His Team:

QB- Aaron Rodgers - against Seattle at home...could torch them!
RB- AP - its AP..nothing else needed to say...pray for another case of the bumbles
RB- Thomas Jones - not my favorite guy, but has played well this season
WR- Miles Austin - Miles and Miles of Austin....be glad its outside
WR- Greg Jennings - Jennings, Green Bay, and December....another solid start
WR- T.J. Housch. - Cinci at home against KC....may be another solid play
TE- Jermichael Finley - so-so (mostly since I dont know much)
K- Garrett Hartley - so-so (mostly since I dont know much)
DST- Vikings

- its in Chicago, but Chicago has underperformed all year..for your sake hope for Chicago to hit on all 4 cyclinders of that offense!

My comments are bolded. I think its either going to be close or a big blowout (not in your favor). Any Rodgers to jennings hookups hurt you (plus side...if Rodgers screws up (no likely) Jennings never touches the ball...You've got a chance, but I'd say you need a few good things to happen. good luck!

well no offense but i wouldnt listen to much to him considering he thinks houshmanzadeh still plays in Cincinatti, but it should be tight, u have to hope for a great game from CJ though, you have no other WRs than chambers to play, the bengals secondary is pretty good

I think the key to me winning is if my backs come up big. It would also be good if Smith and Johnson come through for me as well.

I have Percy harvin but Chambers has been pretty solid.

harvin has been hot too when he plays, watch those migraines and see if hes starting, favre always throws the ball good after a controversy and chambers does have Bowe back on the roster so might not see as many targets, its a close call but go with ur gut, u have to go with who led u to ur championship, Good luck though

I totally forgot Bowe is back this week. The only thing that has me concerned about Harvin is he is playing with two bulging disk in his neck. I had been playing him up until his headache problems. I don't know what to do now lol.

RB- Chris Johnson...No Brainer
RB- Jerome Harrison (had to pick him up)...Solid pick up...Playing Oakland @home...Oakland Defense is very solid so it might be a toss up
WR- Andre Johnson...No Brainer
WR- Steve Smith (Panthers)...Giants Secondary is very questionable...I'm sure they're no WR better than him on your roster or waivers
WR- Chris Chambers (had to pick him up)...Don't go with him...they are playing Cin and their Defense is very strong....I'd probably go with like Percy Harvin or try to get a solid slot WR or something on waivers...maybe Pierre Garcon, Mike Wallace, Robert Meachem, Devery Henderson, Kevin Walters, Devin Thomas, WR that are under the radar still to a point.
TE- Tony Gonzales...Solid no point getting a new one unless it's Dallas Clark
K- David Akers...Probably better Kickers, Philadelphia scores too many TDs
DST- Packers...Solid Defense against a weak team at home

His Team:

QB- Aaron Rodgers...No brainer...300 yards +, 2 TDs+
RB- AP...No Brainer
RB- Thomas Jones...Solid RB
WR- Miles Austin....Don't think he'll have that big of a game
WR- Greg Jennings....It's all hit or miss...Rodgers could go else where
WR- T.J. Housch....I doubt he gets barely that much points
TE- Jermichael Finley...Solid TE...Dangerous in Red Zone
K- Garrett Hartley...Who? Is the NO kicker? Then they score too many TDs
DST- Vikings...Very good Defense

First besides Harvin who's on your reserves? Also who is on your waivers that has potential to have a big game? You have to realize last weeks of the season, a lot of back ups get playing time. I'd say he has an edge in QB, and overall RB, but you have him beat at WR and maybe TE. Defense and Kicker are pretty equal. I would try to either pick up another solid WR or RB to fill that third WR/RB slot, Chris Chambers is definately not the choice there.

Just wanted to post and say I won. I ended up sticking with Chambers instead of Harvin and they both did about the same.
