Serious Fantasy Football KEEPER League

Updated Rules and Information:

First year: 35
Second Year: 25
Third Year: 15

and if someone drops out then the extra 10 will go into that years money pot

12 PERSON LEAGUE

I think the best way to do it for keeper would be any of the following

1. Keep 3 players after the first year regardless of round

2. Subtract 2 rounds from where drafted year before and 1st and 2nd rounders cannot be kept(for example, if last year i drafted RG3 in round 9, i would keep him and lose my 7th round this year)

Keeper Rules: --> Page 20

So here are how the keeper rules will work
Writing this so we have no problems in the future

3 Keepers allowed Max
As many of the 3 Max keepers can be off the wavier wire

ANY Player drafted takes on those keeper rights
For Example, If I draft a RB in the first round and he gets hurt week 1, if i drop him and he is picked up, he can be kept for a first round pick and not a 12th

1st round pick --> Kept as a 1st round pick
2nd round pick --> Kept as a 2nd round pick
3rd-5th round pick --> Kept as a 3rd-5th round pick respectively

If want to keep a 3rd round pick and 4th round pick --> You Lose a 3rd round pick and a 4th round pick
If want to keep a 3rd round pick and 4th round pick and a 5th round pick --> You Lose a 3rd round pick and a 4th round pick and a 5th round pick

6th round pick --> Kept as a 4th round pick

If want to keep a 3rd round pick and 4th round pick and a 6th round pick --> You Lose a 3rd round pick and a 4th round pick and a 5th round pick

If want to keep a 3rd round pick and 5th round pick and a 6th round pick --> You Lose a 3rd round pick and a 4th round pick and a 5th round pick

If want to keep a 4th round pick and 5th round pick and a 6th round pick --> You Lose a 3rd round pick and a 4th round pick and a 5th round pick

7th Round pick --> Kept as a 5th round pick

If want to keep a 3rd round pick and 4th round pick and a 7th round pick --> You Lose a 3rd round pick and a 4th round pick and a 5th round pick

If want to keep a 3rd round pick and 5th round pick and a 7th round pick --> You Lose a 3rd round pick and a 4th round pick and a 5th round pick

If want to keep a 4th round pick and 5th round pick and a 7th round pick --> You Lose a 3rd round pick and a 4th round pick and a 5th round pick

8th round pick --> Kept as a 6th round pick
9th round pick --> Kept as a 7th round pick
10th round pick --> Kept as a 8th round pick
11th round pick --> Kept as a 9th round pick
12th round pick --> Kept as a 10th round pick

To sum it up

1-5 kept for that round

rounds 6 and 7 kept for a 5th round

after rounds 7 then the minus 2 rule comes into effect

so to keep a round 8 u lose a round 6

again to make it clear!!

1st round --> 1st round
2nd round --> 2nd round
3rd round --> 3rd round
4th round --> 4th round
5th round --> 5th round
6th round --> 5th round
7th round --> 5th round
8th round --> 6th round
9th round --> 7th round

and then so on

WAVIER WIRE KEPT FOR 10TH ROUND

I'm interested. I think a lot of people on here are hesitant to spend $70 on a fantasy football team. If you lowered it I think you would attract more people.

jbmets95 07-14-2013 03:07 PM

.................

Jwalker 07-14-2013 05:56 PM

I'd be interested

Michael Miracle 07-15-2013 04:55 PM

I'd actually like to do a keeper league this year, but I agree, seventy on fantasy football is too rich for most people on the site. I'd be interested at twenty buck yearly fee...

Yeah, lowering it to like a $30-$35 fee would fill this league up fast.

jbmets95 07-16-2013 01:11 AM

who would b down for 35 deposit this year

so money would look like this

First year: 35
Second Year: 25
Third Year: 15

mikeman7322 07-16-2013 02:41 PM

jbmets95 07-27-2013 10:08 AM

Heres the updated list of people in/interested after more details!!

1. Jbmets95
2. hickson#21
3. Jwalker
4. Michael Miracle
5. mikeman7322
6. Sportscardbreak
7. cromartie3145
8. bhavr

This is the money agreement which i think is not too much and fair

First year: 35
Second Year: 25
Third Year: 15

We also would have to vote on ESPN/Yahoo/NFL

I think yahoo and nfl are both way easier..

We also would on how keepers are kept (i think best and easiest is you keep 3 players regardless)

And then each following year we could either make the draft order last place to first or just re randomize it

Lets get a few more in!

bhavr 07-27-2013 02:23 PM

I like yahoo/nfl. And i would vote ppr

sportscardbreak 07-28-2013 01:58 PM

I vote yahoo, ppr and draft based on previous year's rankings.

hickson#21 07-28-2013 07:07 PM
I vote yahoo, ppr and draft based on previous year's rankings.
Exactly what I would vote too

Jwalker 07-28-2013 10:49 PM

NFL or Espn, Ppr and previous years rankings for me as well. Anything but yahoo, I've had problems with them in the past (granted it was baseball)

jbmets95 07-29-2013 12:52 AM

lets try 2 get 2 more ppl in and then finalize everything up!

WhoDatNation 07-29-2013 10:14 AM

What's the deal with the payments being different each year?

jsnake89 07-29-2013 01:08 PM

What is the platform? I'm interested
