As for the card deal I'd be willing to forward matvoo or another selected member $10-$12 paypal and have that member select a card off eBay. They would then post the card they've selected and make sure the person that paid is okay with it.

I have several cards and will submit a picture for approval. I just need to do a search on ebay to confirm the value.

Let's figure out what we're going to do with submitting the cards for the prize. This time between now and the draft would be a good time to sort all that out.

Yes. Good to get the details sorted out beforehand.

I say it should be a baseball card only. That you post a picture and majority rules on if its worth ten bucks. In a FFB league on this board i ended up with some cards for second place that i highly doubt could sell for the value. The Commish approved the cards in that league. I vote 1st,2nd,3rd for prizes. 1st-6 cards, 2nd- 3 cards,3rd- 1 card.

ok i guess this is the right forum to post in. Just curious, can someone explain why the lineup is set this way? it just looks crazy to me. every league ive ever done has it set up like a real lineup.

Espn i have only played FB. The points scoring is different from yahoo. Are you talking about that or the lineup for players? I guess i need to check the settings on the league page.

i was talking about the actual lineup. the way the points are set up is fine as long as hitters don't outweigh pitchers and vice versa.

The way the lineups are setup are ESPN's standard. I like it because you have extra OFs, 1B/3B, 2B/SS, plus a Utility which means less bench players. This is good because you don't have to swap guys in and out so often based on when their bye weeks are. So what you get is pretty much everyone plays, meaning the best overall team will do the best.

As for the cards I'd be willing to send "theacox" some PayPal and have him select a card then make sure I approve of it. He has the most iTrader reviews and could hold all the cards. Something like these would be good cards for this league IMO:

2013 Topps Tribute Blue Matt Moore Auto 'D 30 50 | eBay
2013 Topps Triple Threads Johnny Cueto Cincinnati Reds Auto 'D 25 | eBay
2013 Topps Inception Mike Zunino Autograph Jersey Card Auto Relic Mariners | eBay

After looking at my cards i to have decided to purchase one off ebay. My cards are either < 10 or much higher. So i will buy a card that has a 10.00 value or slightly higher.

I think the sale prices on these 3 are a little low. Looks like $6-8 when averaging the last 3. (2 sales only in the case of the Moore.) Are we enforcing a $10 minimum or are we saying around $10? I just need a little clarification from the group/OP because I don't want anybody getting butthurt over a game.

edit: Also, if everyone is fine with me holding the cards then I am OK with it. If not, please speak up.

I say use a card that you would want to win. Not a card that you just want to get rid off. Remember if you win you will need to pay for shipping for your card also. So really you have to buy a card. Ship it to someone to hold. Then if you win pay for shipping to get your prize. Its almost easier to just PP $10 each for someone to hold.

I mean wouldn't it be simpler to just have everyone hold onto the card. Post a scan of the card your betting with. Then at the end of the season the winner picks his 6 2nd picks his 3 3rd picks his 1 and then those people ship to them. Or do we fully. It trust each other hahahaha
