Congrats to Bam Bam Blowout Hockey League Champion

Congratulations to BamBam for winning the 2007-08 BHL Stanley's Cup trophy. It was a long hard fought league and the deft GM skills of Bam Bam brought him the second championship in BHL history.

I am working on the trophy and when it is ready I will get it out to you, you must keep it and display it (if your wife lets you

) until the next champion is crowned, kind of like the Miss America tiara, only with less class.

Anyway, we will be running the league next year, as of right now, there are no slots opened, but that could change. Next season we should consider tweaking it and maybe chipping in for a championship prize. That is something to discuss in mid-August to September, please don't contact me about the league before then.

I will post a picture of Stanley's Cup before it gets sent out to the Bammer. Hopefully it will be ready this weekend.

I think that was pretty clear, but if it wasn't, now it should be.

First and foremost, I'd like to thank God for giving me the wisdom to correctly pick up all those FAs after He decided to take out my starters in yet another league. At first I was like ->

but today I am like ->

Secondly, I'd like to thank BD for running the league. It was very competitive and no easy feat to win. I'd like to be back next year to defend my title.

In closing, I'd like to thank....ME. While I'm not a former NHL scout or GM or whatever the hell some people claim to be around here

I know my pucks and have the guts to take part in a highly competitive league to prove that. To all those men and women who took part, I salute you. To those who just talk a good game...nobody is listening.

(cue the music)..........I've paid my dues time after time.......
