Time to pick up Jay Bruce?

Looney is normally my backup 1B, I picked up Doumit awhile back since Martin was slow to start. FYI...Roberts is only on the bench as I wasns't sure of his status as of last saturday night (can only change your line once a week and its sunday night). Sheff's been on the pine, but since he's back to batting and given the tigers offence, figured he's better on my bench than someone elses.

Interested in some opinions. Got to check...wife may be in need of a decent outfielder, but hers have been pretty solid as she's whipping me pretty solidly in the league.

Picked up Bruce again....unfortunatly its at the expence of Ryan Doumit..who yesterday broke his thumb! There goes a player from this weeks lineup..oh well, thats why fantasy baseball is a marathon and not a sprint.

as a reds fan I would love to tell you that Bruce will be up soon but all the talk here is that it is going to take either Dunn or Griffey being traded for Bruce to be called up. They aren't going to bring him up until he has a spot to play everyday but he is absolutely on FIRE right now. I just don't see the Reds finding a taker for Griffey. I know the feel good story is him going to the Mariners but hey are mistaken if they think he is going to be the savior. Good luck with the pick up and hopefully he is in a Reds uniform sooner than later.

Doumit hit the DL so its a better spot on my roster (his 0 stats are getting really to Shefffields out put lately)

i know this post is old but nice pick up fish! I'm glad that I was wrong! I didn't think Dusty would ever get Corey Patterson out of there but again thank God I was wrong!
