My Bigger money league FFL draft
 

I did my last money league draft tonight and its my highest entry fee draft. I am split on this team as again I went kind of slim at a main position, this time, I think at RB, heres the results by round

1st- Andre Johnson WR
2nd- Steven Jackson RB
3rd- Deangelo Williams RB
4th- Ryan Mathews RB
5th- Joe Flacco QB I had to have him, I like him
6th- Vernon Davis TE
7th- Brett Favre QB
8th- Dwayne Bowe WR
9th- Marion Barber RB
10th- Malcolm Floyd WR
11th- Robert Meachem WR
12th- Darren McFadden RB
13th- Laurance Maroney RB
14th- Lee Evans WR
15th- Titans D/ST will change after first few weeks probly
16th- Bironas K

What do you think, I freaked a couple times and picked people earlier than I wanted too but I like the overall potential of this team and my byes play out well

Looks like a pretty good team. Got enough RB to find a good couple.

Your fine at RB's. You might want to pick up another decent WR. Also, You might need another QB because I cant see Flacco and Favre being your top guys.

Ryan Matthews in Round 4 could be a historic steal. You balanced that out by picking Flacco in Round 5. I love Flacco, but not anywhere near that high.

Your team looks pretty good at RB. WR may end up being your biggest challenge.

I would look into getting another WR either via trade or FA....IF you can i would try to Jabar Gafney.....I think he will have a big year....

I agree with Madbacker. This team is fantastic. You shouldnt have followed up Flacco with Favre though, you shouldve just played the QB bye by hitting the waiver wire.

Mathews, Andre, and Floyd im huge fans of.

Flacco will be good for 3,500 plus yards and 25+ tds this year. Floyd will be a 1000 yard receiver with 10+ tds with no Jackson. I'm not sold on Matthews as of yet until he does something. Jackson is solid of course but I don't like D-Williams. Watch the waiver wire for a RB if anything.

I took Favre because he had a huge year last year. I liked my first 4 rounds a lot. 10 teams and I was 7th pick. I picked Flacco cuz everybody was gone already. He was the 13th QB taken so I had to

Seems like you did pretty well, I also have Flacco at QB so I am hoping for a great year from him. Just curious as to how many teams are in your league, because you have a lot of solid players. I am guessing 10 team league??? Just wondering . . :)!

Really. You should have drafted worse just because the other guys in your league did. :rolleyes:
What would you do, Backer, if the other owners in a league you were in made questionable drafting moves in your eyes? Drop out of the league due to a lack of competition? Or would you take advantage of that?

Yes, 10 teams and I had 7th pick. Ive drafted with these guys for 5-6 years or so now and I know who I can wait on in the first 3-4 rounds that they wont take. Andre would have been gone right away had I not taken him at 7th but I knew S-Jax would be there on the way back in 2. Im the only one who likes him

Even with 10 teams how Mathews got that far is beyond me.......so I would say their were dumbos in that draft because that was a solid steal.

Cripes, people are making Matthews out to be the next Chris Johnson. I bet he barely cracks 1000 yards and maybe 8 TDs.

Well he def. has the skills to do so, and even though SD is P. Rivers team, he goes into a good situation where they aren't relying heavily on him to win games. So he may not get 2,000 yds. like CJ but he won't be relied on like CJ is, but he'll def. make some noise.
