Default Topps 1/1 Scam? UFC Knockout - How is this possible??

I know this isn't a break thread but I wanted to post here because I see alot of UFC Knockout on here.

Can someone please explain to me how there could possibly be 2 redemptions on Ebay for the same card that is supposed to be a 1/1?? Is Topps scamming us here saying cards are 1/1 when they are not??

LOOK!

RIGHT! So how do 2 different people both have a Brock Lesnar Triple Threads Auto White Whale redemption for sale on Ebay? That's 2 of the same card that is supposed to be a 1/1 card. Am I wrong??

yea there can be 2 1 of 1's because topps makes different variations just like in triple threads baseball, should be illegal to call it a white whale, just my opinion though...

Both ebayers are from Ontario, Canada. Maybe the BIN sold it to the other guy and forgot to take it down.

Who knows, but they look the same to me!

I don't know.. Only a few actual white whales from Knockout popped up on the bay so far & they all look the same. Doesn't appear to be any variations like I have seen with printing plates on other products.

Look at this listing that shows the back of 1 of the cards. It says White Whale and One of One. No reference to printing plate or other colors. I have an A & G Magglio Ordonez printing plate & it says yellow printing plate on the card. Not these...

ONe is a BIN auction with a high BIN and the other is a regular. Probably same guy with two accounts. He has it as BIN and if someone bites, he cancels his auction. Not the most ethical thing.

Another thing it could be is one guy borrows his photo and puts a high BIN on it. If he sells it, he takes the money and buys the other guys at auction and pockets the difference and has the card shipped to his BIN customer, so he makes money without ever owning or possessing the card.

Maybe they're prounouncing the name different on each one. Maybe this is how the Topps marketing weasels justify it. For example

The first White Whale is pronounced: Why Tuh Way Uhl
but the 2nd is pronounced: Whyit Whahyl

Nice catch...didn't notice both sellers are in Ontario. They can still both be 100% legit but what a weird coincidence.

White Whales are printing plates. That means there are actually 4 versions. Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, and Black. Each one is stamped 1/1 since there is only 1 of each color.
