Default Sportkings D 10 Box Case

Mini heavy box with (7) - Muhammad Ali, Silver Mean Joe Greene 1/7, Lilly, Walsh, Mayweather, Laurance, Coleman.

Gold Single Memorabilia - Bright Green Ronnie Coleman
Gold Greatest Moments 1986 Masters - Jack Nicklaus
Gold Auto - Raymond Berry
Silver Auto Memorabilia - Bruno Sammartino, Joe Sakic
Silver Patch Sakic - 3 color
Silver Cityscapes - Wilt Chamberlain & Bernie Parent
Silver Auto - Pincay, Warren Sapp

was started to get really worried, figuring the Bad Luck Mojo from the NT Football case (of which I will lose $1,000 of the $1,600 purchase price) was hanging around me until the last box in the case yielded................

Commissioners Cut - Carl Storck Cut Auto! 1/1 The nice thing about this auto is that the check has "The National Football League" printed above it. I can't imagine there are too many of these out there.

Yeah, cuts are always nice, especially since they are all 1/1's

I'm happy, if I break even or even lose a little I'll buy more. Fun rip.

Great pick up and a great piece of history Matt.

I had to look him up on Wikipedia and here is what I found:

Carl Storck (born January 22, 1887 - March 13, 1950) was a co-founder of the National Football League, as well as the founding owner of the Dayton Triangles. He was also the Triangles coach from 1922 until 1926. Storck served as the secretary-treasurer of the NFL from 1921 to 1939. Upon the death of Joe Carr, he served as president of the National Football League. Citing ill health, Storck only held the title of president until 1941.

Storck started his football career as a local football hero in Dayton, Ohio, playing for St. Mary's College (now known as the University of Dayton). After graduation, Stork played semi-pro football for a local team that would later become the Dayton Triangles. Storck became the team's manager in 1918 and guide his team into the NFL (then called the American Professional Football Association). He represented Dayton at Ralph Hay's Hupmobile dealership on September 17, 1920. This meeting marked the formation of the NFL. Like nearly all managers, Storck was an unpaid volunteer; he also worked fulltime as a foreman in the Inspection and Packing Department at the National Cash Register Company.

The Triangles would have trouble competing in the increasingly competitive NFL, and Storck would eventual sell them in 1930 to Bill Dwyer, who moved the team to Brooklyn and renamed them the Brooklyn Dodgers.

I had to look him up too. I don't recall ever hearing of him before.

This is another reason why I like SK so much. I have learned about many historical people from several different sports that I never heard of before. It sounds as if Storck was pretty important in getting the NFL started. I'm glad his name lives on in this product.

Great case! I've got that same Sakic and the same Sapp auto, lol. And that Storck is a sweet pull, even though he looks pretty grouchy in that photo.

How hit and miss is this product?
Or is it a pretty consistent % back most of the time?

Well compared to other Sports, to me it's a HUGE hit. I've opened close to 20 (10) box cases, put some stuff into my PC and am probabaly break even at worst. Fun breaks with the cuts, made to order, Jumbo Swatches, Quads, Ali, Nicklaus, Vintage stuff, other popular cards of athletes you don't see often. Also, everything is ON CARD and NO REDMEPTIONS!

Compare that to one case of NT Football where I lost $1000 lose! and a case of Topps Chrome baseball where I lost $250 on a $430 case.

Why don't you try suing then and find out?

I'm going to guess that you have no clue what the exact rules are. You're just trying, (hoping), to start some more back and forth communicating.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Sure is a lot of SK talk around here lately. Thank you BO for offering a value-packed promotion!

As to your first sentence, how would he have standing to sue? I'm going to guess that you have no clue what the exact rules are when it come to who can sue for that.

As to your second sentence, what are the exact rules?

As to your first sentence...Do you honestly think I was giving him advice to sue?

As to your second sentence...I'm not going to offer that kind of education in this forum.
