Have a case coming from Blowout next week...

But i bought one box from hobby Box..

Not complete crap. I bet that Trump fetches $30-40...and the event worn Ali could get you a few bucks .

That wasn't his box break, he got two no names in his box.

Anyway, how much did the box cost? I was interested in buying this product but then I watched a few breaks and it seems not worth the $.

I hate to break it to you but trump is one of the better Non ali autographs in this. You may want to research before you call it crap. I would hope 90% of the boxes had a trump but they wont. Yours is far from crap

There is a bunch posted on ebay...

Looks like 11 of the 12 boxes are event worn

than 1 plate auto or fight worn...

There will be so many event worn trunks...

They will drop to 15-20 dollars...

there is 4000 boxes made and there is probably 100 ali autos..

not sure though...

yes 90 is way to much for this product...

not sure it will drop that much.. becuase of the chance of ali auto

but for example there are joe frazier autos on ebay listed at 250
frazier auto only sells for 30

I just purchased the /20 event-used for $70 so at least somebody is overpaying right now.
I agree the plain color swatches will not get most collectors to open their wallets but any serious stitching or writing will draw decent interest since most of what's already out there is 1 color. $20-30 seems right for the plain event used swatches imo.

There are 100 Ali Cut Autos and 50 on card autos. There is a 50% chance a case has an Ali, unless Leaf messed up and put more than one into a case.

The Trump is very nice, and so is the Roy Jones Jr in the second box Chris broke. Yeah most of the event worn pieces will be plain black, but there are some really sick patches that you can get from the event worn insert set, but they are rare. If you don't get an Ali auto in your case, it is going to feel like a big kick to the junk for sure, but if you get one, you are pretty much breaking even or making money.

Default Should I get a Case?

1st off I want to say I think you guys got your #s wrong. I read on Beckett & another site that there will be 200 Ali autos inserted. 150 Cut Sigs and 50 on card autos. All # 1/1. Now if Leaf is telling the truth about only 399 cases then in theory Ali autos should fall about 1 per 2 cases. I'm afraid to buy Leaf though after MMA. I pre-ordered a case of that stuff at $1200 & now it's like $750. It totally tanked. I'm afraid the same will happen here because it's leaf and not Topps or Upper Deck. Also, if you don't get an Ali auto you will probably at least get a 1/1 plate. But with the crappy autos don't know if worth it at $1050/case. what do you guys think???

I heard Ali auto every other case...

My guess is..

if you bought 2 cases on Average

One case hit would be 1/1 fight worn trunks

second case would be auto..

I also think 10 of 12 boxes in each case will event worn items...

So average box will yeild about 50-60 dollars of resale.. with ali event worn and two autos

I also hate they do not put on the card what the swatch is...

It is so easy just to say what it is...

I think it will stay around 1000 a case because of the ali auto factor...

What's the event that these Ali memorabilia pieces were worn in? Do the cards say?

I believe it is some kind of sparring or training match. Could be wrong.

I am still a little excited for this set, however instead of doing two cases I decided to just do one and instead purchase my first Ringside KO Case that blowout had for sale this weekend. The fighter selection in it is way better and there is still a chance at an Ali auto.

That would definitely be better than what I heard. That's why I was interested in what the backs of the cards say.

I heard, (and we all know we shouldn't believe everything we hear), that these memorabilia pieces come from items Ali recently put on "specifically for this product" and took right back off. This would mean they aren't sparring or training used items at all.

Anyone else know more about these pieces?

They prob had Ali put on the trunks or shirt while he signed the 50 autos. LOL!

At least the picks at the NFL rookie premier run around a tad and sweat on the jerseys.....hahah

I actually heard that that is "when" he put them on, but I doubt he signed the cards while wearing them. He sure could have though.

It will be interesting to learn more about these pieces, and if they are indeed this kind of "event worn", and if people will think of them the same way as sparring or training used items.

Not sure about event worn that could mean anything... a press conference, a dinner event, etc. But the autographed ones are fight used so he definitely wore those trunks/glove pieces in a professional fight. Those cards will definitely carry some value.

If you watch some of the Ali vids on hobby box...

He says i wish it said what these are from..

So i am guessing it says nothing about what event or what kind of relic it is..

Which is sooooooo Stupid. glove shoe trunks?????????

But as long as you have a chance for an Ali auto every 24 packs..

prices will stay at 80-90 a box..

plus there is nolan ryan hulk hogan joe frazier and trump autos...

plus 1/1 plates

There is value to be found....

Maybe I am missing something here but a few thoughts:

1. Why would anyone buy Leaf/Razor products given their history of selling cards on the side that were advertised to be in a product?

2. Sportkings has a chance for Ali autographs and other valuable cards that this Leaf product cannot produce and the box tops carry value. That product is at $65, so why should this stay at $90?

Just a couple thoughts there. Id be shocked if this product holds value and shocked if the ratio of Alis actually hit like they should.

This chance of getting an Ali auto is MUCH better in this product than in SK. If you don't get any Golden Bear auto or a GOLD AUTO or 1/1 out of SK , that break is typically toast. With Ali, at least if you are a hard core collector, you will get something that is semi-related to Ali that you can set-collect.

I guess my point is, if you are looking to break this stuff or something else with Ali in it and come close to getting money back on the rest, this isnt the product. Atleast with Sportkings if you dont hit Ali, you have a chance at many cuts, 1/1s or other quality cards. In this its an Ali auto or an ass kickin
