I've gotten so I only collect golf major champions and HOF'ers so that's a pretty nice box ...
Sorenstam's obviously a HOF'er .... Pavin,Leonard & Stadler are major champions ...

3 autos in the box was a nice bonus ... and the Sorenstam autos are usually 1@12 boxes so you did well and I really like the looks of that card especially since it kind of commerates her Colonial tournament appearance ....
a rookie auto/shirt card plus a important event in golf history all in one card and yes the on-card signatures are great ...

Glad you tried one ..... now time for you to rip a case

im itchin to try a case.. i'd love to pull a tiger auto... and it does seem that my best chance from what we've talked about before - is in 03 spgu...we'll see.

what do you think i could get for the sorenstam? its a sharp lookin card and a really great auto.

yeh it definitely is a sharp looking card ...
looking a some recent completed auctions I was surprised to see some pretty reasonable sale prices for a player of her magnitude ...
seems like right now her stuff is'nt bringing as much as they did 1 or 2 years ago ....
no longer being # 1 (or even # 2 as far as that goes) and being injured and not winning this year has hurt her sales ...

Might pay to just wait a few months and see if she rebounds next season ... I would be very surprised that she did'nt ..... plus there are 2 big LPGA tournaments left in this season so you never know she might grab a win yet ...

actually that's the way UD did it in SPGU ...
you'd usually get 2 autos per box with some hot boxes with 6-8 autos per box ...
alot of the autos were '03 Renditions autos and some were other brands ...

The Tiger Woods auto I have in my personal collection came out of a '03 SPGU case and it was a Birdie Dual shirt/auto which was actually first released in regular '03 UD boxes ...

I think they just had surplus autos of various releases and threw those in as extra autos instead of making new auto sets ...
If I remember right it was'nt unusual to have quite a few Renditions autos come out of 12 box cases ...
Actually I think they're one of UD's best looking auto cards ...

ahhh.. you're right, it is a great lookign auto set... its just a shame that the majority of golf players don't get the same hobby love that tiger gets.

Ron/ Capt - what is a good $$ range on this product? The CSA show I am doing this coming weekend (Nov 2-4) will have a decent amount of golf products and I may pick up a box or two of "something".....since I can't find the time to get out and play I might as well bust something.......

I bought a case of this from Blowout and have been boxing them out on eBay, but you should definitely buy his!

there is a show coming up here in sac in a couple weeks i've heard and last time it was here, there was a dealer who had some 04 sp signature cases... it might be get ugly if i can get my hands on one or three

though I'd love to buy a few cases of '03 SPGU ...

We live in rural upstate NY and have a drilled well and found out on Monday that we need to have it completely redone again since it's collapsed inside and we've been having problems having enough water for just basic needs ...
Looks like it's gonna run in the $ 5-6,00 range

Could have had a fabout 3 cases for that price !!

Maybe all of the other products are going up to make up for the 2006 and 2007 football products tanking.
