Case from blowout. Very fun time - excellent patches and unique autos. Only complaint would be the collation on the base. I shouldn't end up with 14% of the base as doubles and therefore missing 25% of the base set.

I came into this post expecting to give a short "no, the Twins (where Oliva played) have hats with a "T & C" (for Twin Citites) logo where the C is very prominent, so that's Oliva" argument, but when I did a short Google search I think that guru is right. Search "Tony Perez pictures" and one comes up poseted by Bob Netherton on April 22, 2011. It is EXACTLY the pose that this painting depicts (the shaodowing on the face, the slight sneer, etc). So you are in fact the owner of a Tony Oliva card with a picture of Tony Perez. Still a beautiful card, just a little weird (esp since there's likely no way to replace it).

I bet it was an honest mistake of switching player photos when making the cards. After all, making 256 individual 1/1 paintings in a short period of time had to be anything but easy. Probably why no other company has attempted something like this, and likely never will.

You can't trademark half logos.. The network I work for sued for another television entity showing half our logo.. My employer lost big time. Half things are not trademarked unless they are trademarked as 'half' if that makes sense. Not sure I'm making sense as I've been up since 0300...
