Wow, congrats on the big hits. That 1980 US hockey book sounds ridiculous.

Nice hits.

Any word from Leaf on print run of that booklet. Are they ready to be shipped soon. Leaf is really good on quick turn around on redemptions.

all was going well with bin best offer...

900-950 for most then some guy ran one at auction and it ended at 500

I wonder if there will be a Herb Brooks cut into the book. Or Kurt Russell, really can't lose either way.

This is all i can find over and over

this first ever booklet card features the signatures of 16 members of the 1980 Olympic team, including Mike Eruzione , Jim Craig and many more # to 10 or less!

I actually won that.

3 others had ended at $960, $950 & $825. I think they were all BINs or best offers. there were 2, maybe 3, others with similar BINs listed.

I bid $500 just to keep a watch on it... but fully expected it to sell near the others. thought there might be a slight drop in the price and that maybe I could eventually grab one in the $700+ range.

was shocked when it ended and no one outbid me.

I now see that a best offer was accepted today at $500 for another. 3 others still for sale and I'm sure they aren't happy about that. and now that i own one, i'm not either!

auctions can be dangerous.

would be nice if it were limited to /10. i expect, based on what you found, that there will be silver cards #/10, gold #/5 and purple #/1... like the other cards in the set. still, not bad.

i can't wait to get this thing. this is a great product.

Well apparently there are a few players that haven't signed much since the "Miracle on Ice", mostly guys who weren't real prominent role players.

A lot of these guys haven't signed in a long while. The only very active ones I know of are Eurzione, Christian, Craig, and Broten. I read one of the guys (I think Jack O'Callahan) lives in the mountains somewhere and can't be found lol. The 16 autos are probably missing O'Callahan, Verchota, Brooks, Patrick, and one or two others. I know those four guys didn't sign for the 04-05 Legendary Signature Set so I doubt they would sign for Leaf.

I won the best offer listing and am pretty excited about this card, gonna be tough to find a case for it though.

Congratulations on snagging that.

I'm going to see if I can get a frame built for it. Have to see the size and what it looks like when it arrives. But thinking a frame displaying the card at bottom with a picture of the team celebrating above.

I think there are a couple guys who do the custom booklet holders I will see if they could put something together. I will let you know what comes out of it.

Not sure if this could coincidentally be the exact 16, but these players were present at the Mounted Memories show in November:

Mike Eruzione
Jim Craig
Eric Strobel
Phil Verchota
Buzz Schneider
Jack O'Callahan
Mike Ramsey
Rob McClanahan
David Silk
Ken Morrow
Mark Pavlich
John Harrington
Mark Wells
Bob Suter
Steve Janaszak
Dave Christian

So by that list you'd be missing Mark Johnson (although he couldn't attend the show because of his coaching duties), Bill Baker, Steve Christoff and Neal Broten (Plus of course the late Coach Brooks).
