Default Tiger Woods Master Collection break!

Can't wait to see these broken over the next several days. I've opened mine and have no complaints, other than the condition of one of the signed cards...

Here's the box (inside the outer red packaging):

The first thing on top is a little wooden tray that would hold 3 cards (presumably your 3 big hits not including the signed memorabilia). Underneath is a foam casing with three columns. The hits are randomly placed inside these columns.

The base cards are very nice. Exquisite-like with simple white designs and all serially numbered to match your box (mine is 167/200). Sorry I don't have pics.

Underneath the tray is your memorabilia... this is what I got:

I'd rather have a pin flag but still a nice piece from the 2008 US Open. Since this is numbered to 50, I'm dying to know what the memorabilia pieces are... I know pin flags and pairing sheets are on the sell sheet but it would be cool if UD mixed in a few gloves, etc.

My non-auto's were:

Pretty blah. Looks like a piece of towel (really?), club and shirt. Numbered to 25 so I don't know if there will be 8 variations of this card or if we'll see some other memorabilia cards come out of the breaks.

The sell sheet says you'll either get a Slambalaya (ie Jambalaya) or a signed artist Masterpiece numbered to 10. There is one Slambalaya for each major he's won (14) so while not numbered, I assume there are no more than 15 or so of each, depending on whether the artist sketches are a total of 10, or a few different artists numbered to 10. I'll be curious to see if collectors will like these as they are certainly rare, but also haven't been as highly collected outside of basketball.

Alright... so here's where I think it starts to get fun.

On the sell sheet, it easy you will get three auto's. I think if you get the Artist Sketch signed instead of a Slambalaya, then you'd get four.

The sell sheet shows a few different types of auto's:

- Exquisite RPA's (25)
- 03-04 Exquisite Limited Logos (4)
- Historic Duals (#?)
- Dual Booklets (#?)
- Masterpieces Auto's numbere to 3 (#?)

On the sell sheet, is an MJ/Tiger auto which I would love but next to that, the Exquisite design ones were the ones I was hoping for. I don't know for certain if there are only 29 of them (25+4), or if there are variations. In any case, my first auto was:

Sweet looking card, numbered to 3! I'm a bit disappointed because it's slightly smeared. I'm assuming UD won't be able to replace but I'll try.

My last card...

Wait for it...

THRILLED!

I don't know if the card on the sell sheet ever got made and if some of these will actually be multi-color shirt swatches. As far as I can tell, this looks to come off a club as it seems like it's a piece of silver-ish metal. Not sure if this is better or worse than a shirt but I guess I'll see what the others look like when they start to hit.

Overall, I think there was great value here and a genuinely beautiful set. Also couldn't be coming at a better time with his 4 tour win just this past weekend. If I'm able to get another box, I might sell off some of these singles (definitely not the RPA) in hopes of another big hit. I'm not counting on finding another at a reasonable price though.

Hope you enjoyed!

Someone at the store I go to got a 1/1 Auto, a RPA auto, and a U.S. Open Flag. I know that might be one of the best boxes of the product, but I think at $2,500, this could be as close to a sure thing as there is. Especially if he gets hot in the coming months and rattles off some more wins.

Thanks for the breakdown, I've never seen these before. Hope they can hook you up due to the smudged auto.

UD has been very good to me on replacements, so I doubt you will have a problem. Awesome break!
