Default best of wwe gold?

Hi there, i wanted to ask if anyone has pulled a gold parallel base card from the 2013 topps best of wwe set? I have bought a case and have a Gold WWE Emblem on a base card but can't tell if its the rare gold parallel or not? doesn't show anything different gold cards besides the insert golds that are 1 per box but this is not a insert its a base card. Anyway i hope someone can help me out... thanks!

From the checklist I read, gold are supposed to be /10.

WWE cards are rarely stamped with a serial number though.

I would say you got yourself a gold card. Congrats! Normal base cards are red foil stamped. Compare it to a bronze you pulled just to make sure it is gold and not bronze. I am sure you did this already. I have a hard time telling the difference.

I made the mistake of thinking I pulled a gold card when I got a Top Ten #1 (1 per box). All the Top Ten #1's are gold. The #2's are silver and #3's are bronze. #4-10 are blue. (For reference in case anyone else comes across this thread)

Hope this helps! BTW which base card is your gold of?

I would consider that one of the better cards in the base set too. Good luck with it!

The posted odds made it seem like that was a tough pull. Judging from ebay it doesn't look that way. I think the deceiving thing is that the odds are for that card only. In 2013 Triple Threat series the Divas Kiss cards were 1:384 I believe. But that was 1:384 for ANY kiss card, and not guaranteed to be AJ.

You going to post the results of your break when you are done?

I don't wanna give you bad news. . That is a top ten #1 and not a gold parallel. It is still a good pull for 3 packs. Hobby odds are 1:24. But it isn't a gold /10 parallel.

No problem. How can you tell? Are the gold parallels numbered? Cause it looks exactly like the ones on eBay selling as "gold parallel"
But there are "gold parallel" and "gold foil" bough on eBay. How do I know the difference ? Or I guess how would you be able to tell what is what if you didn't know if it came from hobby or retail pack ?

Well the top ten inserts don't have parallels. #1s are always gold 1:24. #2s are always silver 1:12. And #3s are bronze 1:6. 4-10 are blue foil stamped. So put all of the top ten s aside and look at the base cards only.

Of the base cards (1-110), normal base cards are red foil stamped. Then you have the bronze foil stamp. Silver foil stamp. And gold foil stamp.

If they listed gold parallel on the eBay listing they are either confused (I was too at first) or decisiving buyers. There is no other variation of the top ten #1 other than the printing plates for it.

Hope this helps!

Oh and the gold parallels are limited to 10, but not stamped. Wwe cards never have their SP cards stamped for some reason.

Yes! Thank You very much!
Yea there are "Top Ten gold parallels" on eBAy.

Do you know stats on the Lawler portraits?
Do portraits differ from sketch cards?

I think they are one and the same and are 1/1. No posted odds on them though.

Topps almost always stamped the short printed or serial numbered cards until 2012 I believe. They got lazy
