Default Tiger Woods 2001 SPA auto/900 GAI 10 perfect

I just joined the message boards but I've been reading them for about a month now. I'm looking to sell my prized possession (or at least one of them). I have a Tiger Woods auto SPA rookie #/900 that is graded GAI 10 perfect. I buy a lot off of ebay but if I sell this card there I will get hit with a lot of fees. I'm asking a lot for it but if you have been watching ebay, even the BGS 9.5's are going for over $6,000. My card is GAI 10 perfect which is the equivalent of BGS 10. Now don't get me wrong, I realize BGS 10 is better than GAI 10, but I think a BGS 10 would go for over $10,000 so I'm asking $8,000. I realize this a lot so I don't really expect to get any serious interest, but I figured I'd try this out before going to Ebay. I don't have a picture at the moment since I'm at work but I can get one.
Once again, I realize $8,000 is a lot of money but this card will only go up in the future. Thanks so much.

Don't mean to burst your bubble, but GAI 10 is NOT even equivalent to BGS 9.5. Personally...I would pay more for a BGS 9 than I would a GAI 10, but that's just me.

You're probably better off selling it raw than in a GAI 10 slab.

Ditto, you might get $4000 - $5000.

Put it on ebay and let it run.

then you will get it's true worth and you might get a little bidding ward going on.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Does anyone think sending it to BGS is a good idea. I'm afraid if I break it out of the GAI case that I'll damage it. If you send graded cards to BGS will they break it out for you and then grade it. I have no idea because I've never sent a card in to be graded.

BGS does not do crossover, but PSA does. You can send it into PSA and ask them for a minimum of a 9 and see it you get it.

BGS does actually do crossovers as can be seen here:

Tony...agree...I've done quite a bit of crossover grading at BGS. So...they'll leave it in the slab if it doesn't meet the minimum grade you provide (based on an "eyeball" & loupe review).

Default okay

what about going from PSA to BGS do they do that? PSA 10 Gem Mint what do you say that would be an equivalent to in BGS? Let me get this straight you can send it to BGS with a note that says if you think this will grade below 9.0 or 9.5 do not grade and please just return. Correct?
