Default WWE - cards question

Hey guys, not sure who reads this thread but got some stupid questions about WWE products.

Who is the "hot" guys these days? Last time I watched WWE was with Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock.

Just wanted to find who sells so I can start ripping Topps Platinum WWE cards that I bought from BO.

Any help is appreciated. thanks

CM Punk is one of the top Heels (bad guy) in pro wrestling. Long independent wrestling track record, Three time World/WWE Champ, great future ahead of him too...

Cool thanks for the help. I will do a box break on youtube with the couple boxes I bought. I will also post the cards on here to see if I got anything worth selling on ebay.

Wade Barrett is another new guy who's starting to get big. Sheamus also. And the Divas sell pretty well too.

HHH has been out of the TV for a while, he's mostly backstage. He might come back for one more run for this Wrestlemania. His autos are still big money though obviously. Annoyingly CM Punk is getting big in collecting terms (annoying as I collect him ) which is odd as he has yet to win the WWE Title but is sure to soon enough..

I had the chance to meet CM Punk backstage a couple years back. One of the nicest people you want to meet. Tatoos are cool looking too, great art work.

Punk is a Three Time World Heavyweight Champion...

1. Defeated Edge [cashing in Money in the Bank] (June 30, 2008 on RAW)
2. Defeated Jeff Hardy [cashing in Money in the Bank] (June 7, 2009)
3. Defeated Jeff Hardy [in a TLC match] (August 23, 2009)

World Heavyweight Championship isn't the WWE Championship, though. They're two different titles.

Both are considered World Championships, therefore WWE Championship = World Heavyweight Championship.

I haven't watched wrestling in prolly 7 or 8 years. With the exception of stopping on it ( no more than 5 min) as I'm surfing. I do occasionally read these threads though. So mike "The Miz" is popular now? That's really cool, good for him. I'm not really into reality shows, but my biggest guilty pleasure is MTV's RR/RW Challenges. I remember when he used to be on there alot and he used to talk about how he always wanted to be a wrestler. Guess He made it.

They're both considered World Championships, but don't get it twisted, they are not the same thing. They don't refer to the WWE Title as the World Heavyweight Championship, they refer to it as the WWE Title. Again, not the same thing. They're two different belts with different lineages.

While yes, they have seperate histories, they are both World Championships, period. Ric Flair is known as 16 time World Champion, even though technically he's a 9 time NWA Champion, a 6 time WCW Champion, and a 2 time WWF Champion. But the fact of the matter is he's a 16 Time WORLD Champion, just like C.M. Punk is a 3 time WORLD Champion. WWE Championship = World Heavyweight Championship in value when history is concerned, period...

You're not getting what I'm saying, and you even made my point yourself. They don't call both belts the World HEAVYWEIGHT Championship when referring to times that guys have held the belts, just the World Championship. Flair's not a 16 time World HEAVYWEIGHT Champion, just a World Champion. But when they talk about Sheamus, they say he's a two time WWE Champion. Know why that is? Because saying the term World Heavyweight Championship implies they'd be referring to WWE's version of that belt.

It's all about semantics and I'd hazard the statement this is a pointless debate because it boils down again to semantics.
