He had a 4 stroke lead. Most people did think he would win today.

While that is true, he had been playing very well and he has a lot of big time experiences in majors, just not the Masters (he does have a top 20). I believe he has 3 top 3 major finishes.

Can't forget Martin Kaymer winning last years PGA Championship.
