No that was definitely legit he did what Randy Orton was too scared to do and he has earned a lot of people's respect including mine.

Great promo but it was worked IMO, they would of cut him off way before, but I dont know.

They're already filming the next Raw tonight, so Punk will have to have another promo or meeting or something then.

I honestly don't think this was worked when he mention Japan wrestling the same company that took MVP away makes me believe this was not a promo and in fact was really legit. If it was a promo it has to rank near the top promos of all time.

i say it was a shoot. i thought work at first but when he took shots at johnny ace and vinces kids that made me change my mind. he also named dropped roh,njpw, and colt cabana. either way it was amazing.

According to fans in attendance at tonight’s RAW in Las Vegas, after tonight’s show went off the air Michael Cole announced that WWE has suspended CM Punk indefinitely. This comes off the heels of Punk giving a “shoot” at the end of the show that “prematurely” went off the air. For those who are wondering whether it was a real shoot or not, it wasn’t. It was designed to get people talking about it and the storyline leading to Money in the Bank, which it is already doing.

WWE will be taping two episodes of RAW tonight from Las Vegas, so we should have an idea of where this storyline goes from here later on tonight here at WrestleHeat.com. Keep it here on the website throughout the evening for more on WWE’s plans for the storyline.

Guys it was worked, now Cena is calling out vince to get answers on the firing of punk on next weeks raw. It will probably be like matt hardy in 2005 he will come in the crowd or something and go crazy until he gets his title match back. Hopefully this whole thing about him leaving WWE and this is all a work

This was a great promo but definitely a work. I love what Punk said and I hope this starts to signal a bit of a change in the WWE. I also thought the Stone Cold shirt was a nice touch.

From what I've read, this is very similar to an angle Punk did while in ROH. I liked the promo as it is always interesting when they start namedropping former talent and other promotions.

Wow just saw a repeat and that was one of the best promo's EVER! I actually hope it is a work which leads to some more Stone Cold era like story lines from WWE creative. I think anyone who has watched wrestling for a while (like me) will agree that the last few years have had some really lame storylines.

Great acting job but anyone who believes this was real is pretty gullible. It's WWE, they wouldn't let this guy go that far and on for so long if it was real. And John Cena wouldn't be lying there pretending to be injured throughout the whole thing.
