I went to the Smackdown taping tonight in Omaha and really enjoyed the vast majority of the show. I won't post any spoilers but I enjoyed it a lot more than Raw last night.

Wrestling has become like baseball in a small sense. Going to live wrestling shows are by far more enjoyable than just watching them on TV.

Fandango's theme played for JJ Hardy's walkup at the NYY/BAL game on ESPN.

I know this is a WWE thread but Kurt Angle on TNA last night looks like he can barely walk. They need to give that guy some time off to have whatever operation or haling he needs. Angle needs to be careful or he will end up like Hogan. Thats one thing I can say about the WWE, they give you the time off when you need to heal (CM Punk magically disappeared). They also want their wrestlers in top condition. Rey Mysterio made an appearance a few weeks back and he looked real heavy (big gut) he hasn't been back since, I can only assume they are making him slim up.

Ahem.....Great Khali, most fans actually feel sad for him when he's in the ring

but also that is Angle's walk that he has, just like how McMahon has his walk to the ring. When he's in the ring Angle is at a much faster speed

Gotta love how nobody cared about Cena's promo, but rather cheered for Bret. .

Three stages of hell, though. That's pretty cool!

Damn, they messed with Axel's theme. Loved last week's theme.

I saw on twitter that Mick Foley is finishing up writing the bio's for the back of the 2013 Topps WWE cards tonight. I'm excited to see what kind of autograph checklist they put together for that release.

Safe to assume that's his finisher?

I really like how they're handling this kid. Love that they're paying homage to his family, too.

The main reason that Angle jumped ship was because McMahon ran him into the ground. Angle was addicted to pain meds, and it was the only way he could even function. Vince doesn't care as long as you move t-shirts. TNA has granted him time off whenever he needs it. Same with Jeff Hardy. I have a feeling that Jeff would either be dead or paralyzed if he had stayed with WWE.

As for Mysterio, he injured himself again.

In order to pay homage to both his father and grandfather Larry "The Axe" Hennig yet slightly differentiate himself as to not live in their shadows.

Several guys kicked out of Curt Hennig's Perfectplex, the most WTF of them all being Bret Hart. (I love Bret Hart, but him kicking out of that move completely killed it. Hogan and Warrior kicking out of it makes perfect sense, they're Hogan and Warrior. Bret doing it killed the move. Who's going to believe in that move when it got kicked out of by someone who wasn't a top babyface?)

First off, he's 33. He's not a 'kid' by any stretch. Plus, he got buried like all hell on RAW last week, why do you love that? Triple H killed him until Hunter had his monthly cramps on the outside of the ring. It made Hennig look awful.

He's always going to be in Curt Hennig's shadow. It doesn't matter what he does, he'll never escape that.

Agreed, he looks more like a jobber then a "Paul Heyman" guy.. Was highly disappointed when he was the big reveal.

I would have much rather watched the fight in the crowd over Cena vs. McGillicutty

Really?? The fact that you're placing Warrior and Hogan before Bret Hart is laughable.....and yea hes main evented RAW two weeks in a row. It doesn't looks like hes being buried. Oh wait you wanted him to beat the WWE CHAMPION in his second match after his return
