I'm pissed as well. I have only ordered 3 ppvs ever, always with friends and this one being the 3rd. Never again will I spend money on this company other them maybe wrestlemanias again. Didn't even put your hottest, most over guy in the entire company in the rumble match is absolutely absurd. He didn't have to win, but would have gotten a huge reaction and fans at least woulda been satisfied. Instead you piss the crowd off, boo everybody other then Reigns when it was the last two, send everybody home pissed and anybody left that was paying for these ppvs questioning whether they will ever pay for one again. Thanks WWE for screwing your fans over once again.

I missed Family Guy for that crap? Geez if I paid money for tickets or ppv to see Cena Lose, Bryan Lose, Tag Team Championship Go to some old Guys, No Huge Legend enter the rumble, or no crazy story line I would be super pissed!!! But since I watched it for free I only feel like I wasted 2 and half hours of my life on a Horrible Horrible Show. But damn where are they going with these horrible story lines??

I would have never dreamed I would say this, but here goes: I'm happy I bypassed this PPV and watched the Pro Bowl instead. I'm going to admit I am not a huge Daniel Bryan fan, but he has been the hottest thing in the WWE in months...to not even have him in the Rumble match is asinine. Having Batista come in and win it in his first match back is just as bad. If the crowd reaction was like I have read it was, Vince and Triple H should be hanging their heads in embarrassment.

One of the funnier tweets I read about this disaster:

Sam Roberts: are you saying boo or boo-tista? #RoyalRumble.

That was horrible. For shame, WWE, for shame...

It's the same kind of Cronyism that doomed WCW.

The only saving grace will be if Bryan gets into the title match at Wrestlemania as a triple threat of some sort. With only 1 major title a triple threat match makes sense.

I believe Cena's plan is to be involved with Hogan in some capacity, but if Hogan doesn't sign before the Mania push, then Cena will be involved with the Wyatts for Mania.
FWIW, this post was from Jan 7.^^^

Look forward to:
Batista / Orton,
Punk / Triple H,
Cena / Bray Wyatt
Daniel Bryan / Sheamus

for your WM30 card.

After Mania, look for a Batista / Lesnar summer-long feud ending at SummerSlam, in a title match.
There is no Daniel Bryan title run coming anytime soon, IWC.
This is the new WWE.

at all of the butthurt Bryan marks. This is the time of year where actual stars dominate the card. I'm going to Wrestlemania to see Lesnar, HHH, Batista, Punk, and Undertaker. Not the charisma free Daniel Bryan.

Daniel Bryan is a better wrestler by miles than 3 out of 5 of those "actual stars". So then I take it you watch wrestling just for the half naked men, and not the matches?

I'd argue that Batista has no charisma. Back when he had his title run I don't remember anything about it. He is probably one of the last guys to cleanly beat Triple H at Wrestlemania and just never seemed to materialize. He just doesn't have the "it" factor.

I mentioned the previous internet darling in my post. Now that Punk has made it, he's not important. At least he had something to say and offered something relatively new to the business. All Bryan has is that moronic catchphrase and a ridiculous looking beard. Yes, he's good in the ring, but he's not someone I will lay down money to see. He doesn't entertain me. I apologize if that doesn't make me part of the in crowd.

Here is where I'd agree with you 100%. The problem with Daniel Bryan is what happens once he makes it? I'd argue that what makes him such a fan favorite is the fact that he is constantly pushed down in favor for the big, established stars. Maybe Bryan could break through and become a long-established star but to me, he does not have the look or gimmick to have a ten-year plus career. While I agree that Batista was such an obvious winner which destroyed the suspense of the Rumble, I'm not sure who else could have been the winner of the Rumble outside of Batista.

I understand where you guys are coming from with Bryan but you need to give his char time to evolve. Every char evolves just look at Steve Austin, Shawn Micheals, Bret Hart ect... Even triple H took a few years to become something bigger. You have to give him the right push and WWE seems to be kicking him down the ladder. He has the most going for him right now so why not give him a clean shot and see what develops. He has the fan base, thats half the battle right there.

I'll be making my first WWE event in years at Wrestlemania and I'm far from excited to see Batista in the main event. I'm more excited about seeing Warrior at the hall of fame, sting hopefully and hogan in some capacity. Those are the guys I grew up on, not Batista and his terrible mat skills and even worse mic skills.

Hate to say it but this may have been their strategy going into the rumble. If they tick fans off with the WWE network coming out in a few weeks and for $9.99 a month it includes PPV's they might be trying to drive people to pay the $9.99 for 6 Months and not $39.95 for PPV...crappy strategy but makes sense
