i actually applaud the WWE for atleast attempting a gimmick with Clay and not just going with his name and pushing him down our throats as some monster heel. Lets think about it, after months of pushing him off shows, if he just came out and dominated someone, everyone would been chanting boring

we've seen it all before

that crap doesnt work anymore. Atleast it was a bit refreshing, sorta a Dude Love meets GoldDust meets monster
