I will be 45 this year and have spent most of my life as an on-again/off-again wrestling fan.

From the days of Dick the Bruiser, Baron Von Rashke, Bobo Brazil and Verne Gagne to Hulk Hogan, Rick Flair, Junkyard Dog, Macho Man (and his cousin Leaping Lanny Poffo), Brutis Beefcake, Andre and Bob Backlund to the Von Erich clan, Buck Zumhoff (sp?), Gino Hernandez, the Freebirds and Koko B Ware to Harlem Heat, the Steiner Brothers, Sting, Luger, Nash, Hall, the 4 Horsemen, NWO, D-X, Austin, Rock and just about everyone in between.

I will remain a fan of the artistry of the "squared circle" although I feel no need to buy t-shirts or anything else to announce it...not an ounce of shame will I ever feel. As I like to sum it up, "Wrestling is basically a testosterone filled soap opera."

Grew up watching the Von Erichs at Will Rogers in Fort Worth, Texas and over at the Sportatorium in Dallas. Not ashamed to be a lifelong wrestling fan and will continue to be one.
