Default Any Michael Jordan/Arnold Palmer/Tiger Woods Autograph "Experts" Here??

I have the 2 photos that I've had for the last 15 years or so, and was wondering about their authenticity. My dad got me the Jordan/Palmer as a birthday present when I turned 14. The Tiger Woods I got TTM when he was an amateur. My uncle is an avid golfer, and told me about Tiger before he turned pro. He advised me to write and try to get his autograph before he became huge - so I tried.

I have no desire what-so-ever to sell these. If they are authetic, however, I'd like to send them to PSA/DNA to have the autograph graded so the picture gets encapsulated to ensure they aren't damaged in the future. Just want to check if you guys think I should waste my time/money having it done.

(And don't worry about hurt feelings - I will not be shocked nor disheartened if neither is real. This was the first autograph my dad got for me, and the first TTM I received - so the sentimental feelings will outweigh anything anyway).

I should add at one time the dual had a Scoreboard COA (card) with it. But I also seem to remember Scoreboard being legitimate, but people switching items or something like that, basically making the COA worthless. So not sure if that helps or not.

I wouldn't bet my life on it, but I would say no to the MJ/Palmer and yes to the Tiger.

To add onto that, and back it up a bit.
The Jordan looks completely off to me, unless it was a really early sig when he signed differently. I would check out rareair23.com and compare there. That guy, despite the crummy website, is the best in identifying authentic Jordan autos. He also has a great selection of autographs to compare yours to.

The Palmer looks okay, except that there is no 'L' in the first name. Not sure if a red flag or not, don't know enough about his autograph.

Tiger did sign through the mail when he was younger, so I think that one is legit. The only thing that could lead me to say otherwise would be if it was a secretarial, but I don't think so. The signature is spot on and the handwriting is too.

That's kind of my initial thought as well. An autopen kind of scares me on the Tiger - anyone know how to tell?

With an autopen all of the line weights will be the same. Take out a sharpie and sign your name on a piece of paper. Some areas are streakier than others, or have thinner stroke. With and autopen, the pen follows a track at a defined speed, so the stroke is constant. Also, you will be able to see ink dots at the beginning and end of strokes, where the marker was raised and lowered. In an authentic autograph, we don't lift the pen up and down, but rather let it tail off. If you have a higher resolution scan or pic of just the autograph I could probably tell for you.

Not sure if that'll help or not.....but looking at the top of the B in best wishes looks like it should be a pen if I understand your message above.

I honestly think it's legit. There's a similar TTM auto on eBay that has a different sig. in a different location. I would say 95% that it would come back authentic from PSA/DNA. The MJ/Palmer not so much.

even if they are legit, don't count on PSA doing anything with them...these are probably 3 of the hardest sigs to get them to authenticate...i have a legit Jordan i got IP and they wont certify it.

Also...this is clearly after Tiger signed his big deal with Nike, so it could go either way.

I got him before the Nike deal and it was personalized...others i've seen that are legit are also personalized....although, he could have just signed a bunch to be mailed out, you never know.

Have a look at BULLROCK7 website. It is for serious golf card collectors with many years experience. One of them should be able to assist.

Tiger looks legit to me.

Palmer and Jordan seems off but I don't have any auto pictures from 12-15yrs ago to compare them to.

If your gonna send the tiger in anyways, it might be worth a shot to do the other but if your never gonna sell that one anyways it doesn't matter either way.
