Default Daytona 500 may be run on Black Friday this year!

This will be a great season ender as the rain will not let up and NASCAR has no open weeks this year and the only date they can run the race is the day after Thanksgiving.

They will run it tomorrow if it keeps raining today - they have already moved the race to 7:00 tonight.

I'm glad they did. The week off after 2 races made no sense. It killed NASCAR as they get all this hype, then dies after a couple races.

They won't race on Easter, but July 22nd is possible, although I can't see them having 2 races in a 3 week span.

i've never understood the appeal of cars going around in a circle for 3 hours but to each their own.

Never understood watching people run up and down a field for 3 hours. Or people swing a wooden object at a ball. To each their own.

This coming from someone who spends most their time in the wrestling section of the forums ROFL you rather watch dudes grab each other LOL
some people cant understand the appeal of a bunch of dudes touching each each other grabing for a ball for 2+ hrs . And know they get paid $10+ million a year. But yeah, i guess to each their own.

Im sorry, im sorry. I thought this was america. Im sorry

just saying, its not exciting. there is other racing out there that is way more fun to watch. also, i don't spend my time in the wrestling section of this forum.

btw only in america do we have nascar, and we know what the rest of the car loving world thinks of it.

and gay jokes are hilarious "ROFL" derp

Name me one racing series that has more passing, more diversity, then NASCAR? You can't. F1 is about qualifying. You started 1st, you basically win. I watch F1, but only for the strategy, no passing/racing at all. Name me a series where 25 cars finish on the lead lap on a 1.5 mile track? Only NASCAR. Try again
