To receive an Art Card for Premium Back Base you need to spell "SPORTKINGS" five times. That is 50 cards needed.

A master case will receive 48 Premium Back Base. So you will have 48/50 needed to redeem for a 1/1 Art Card.

The Premium Back Base Cards Exchange Program awards loyal buyers. If you buy a Master Case you will be very close to spelling "Sportkings" 10 times and being able to receive an additional 1/1 Art Card.

In a Case Break the Premium Back Cards will most likely be distributed 4 at a time to 12 different people. These Premium Back Cards will not be used to trade in for 1/1 Art cards (unless purchased and accumulated on the secondary market).

Of course, there is the choice for those that are holding many Premium Back Base Cards of selling the Premium Back Cards, keeping them or redeeming them....Choose any option, it adds value for the "loyal" buyers.

I won't mention how many boxes/cases I have pre-ordered, it is irrelevant. I think the Group Case Break is an excellent way for collectors who are undecided about Sportkings to give it a try. For less than the price of a box, a "loyal" collector could be born. Thus, value added to everyone that is already a "loyal" buyer.

I also think "loyal" buyers should buy into the case break, and many have. The more Case Breaks that fill up, the more publicity the product receives. Many "loyal" buyers have bought into the case breaks without complaining that their personal purchases aren't being awarded with extra bonus cards, and without expecting to be given a bonus card in the case break.

Card companies give away items all the time. Search give aways at The National, The Industry Summit, etc. The receivers of these give aways may be loyal, some may not be. Exactly the same as a group case break. The point is to increase Brand Awareness, increase the number of collectors, increase the excitement for the product, etc.

Dr.Price does a better job at this than any other card company, and I applaud his efforts.

I'm sure people only do case breaks if they get something out of it, so I'm sure the people sponsoring them Love this promotion and will defend it however they can.

Yes.

Although I'm not exactly sure what they are. I will guess these are part of them:

- Must be a master case "group break".

- Must take place in a public forum, probably more specifically...this one, but don't know for sure.

- Must be broken live with ample notice for interested parties to be able to view.

These are just guesses, but they sound about right to me.

It says as Host you get (3) slots? Are these free? If so based on probability/value/statistics, if a 1/1 art card is worth $500 on average, 3 chances in 51 is worth something, right?

I get 3 chances at the Art card and that is all. The Art card was an added bonus by Dr Price. Why are you so jealous and why do you have to carry on so I don't get it?

You open product, have you ever done a group break? If so you know the work that goes into it. As a host I have never taken part of the break and never will as I feel it is not right. I am providing a service to members and I happen to get a chance at a bonus provided by the manufacturer.

You asked me to LYK if you were getting anything out of the case break, so I LYK that, yes you are, a 1 in 18.3 chance at what could be a $300-$700 card! It's just funny how first you say you do it to help out other that can't open a master case and " I receive nothing". If you were truly doing it for alturistic motives, you would just break it and not take your chances at the art card, let the people buying the slots have an even better chance of getting the bonus card.

I too applaud Dr. Price and feel his products are the best on the market and one of the few things I collect, that and Leaf/Razor Poker.

What everyone needs to understand is that Marino started his group case break before knowing Dr. Price was going to do this. In fact, I doubt Dr. Price knew he was going to do it at that time. It's something that he stated he would do after the break thread was started.

To be clear, Marino did not start that group case break knowing there would be bonuses and that he'd be able to take part.

Sure does!

Did you know that master cases of Series E are cheaper than any of the previous 4 releases? And you're guaranteed AT LEAST three 1/1s! In the previous releases, you would get one, maybe two 1/1s per master case. None of them guaranteed you a cut auto. SK E does.

This product is an amazing value with amazing quality. Like you said, " this stuff gets better and better".

I bought my Master from Blowout, hoping to get Friday. Are cases hitting the street aleady?

250 Master Cases = 750 Cases = 12,000 Boxes

Base cards = 2.5 per box = 60,000 bases/48 cards = 625 of each player provided there are no short prints, like Ali, Nicklaus and Lee in series D

Minis - 6,000/48 SKs total = 115 regular, 7 Silver and 3 Golds

SPORTKINGS LOGO Cards = (1) per box, 12,000/48 = 250 of each player, 25 of each letter except "S" which I assume will be 50. It will be interesting to see if collectors trade these in or keep for PCs. I'm sure many collectors will want a complete SPORTKINGS of Griffey Jr., Ripken, etc. rather than redeem for an special quag memorabilia card.

The checklist of Spectacular Patches checklist is Spectacular, imagine pulling the Michael Jordan or Mike Bibby, the thrill or agony!
