This is a set of 24 full color 8.5 x 11 numbered cards. copywrite by Fanatix and liscensed by Action images. I presume these were issued in the US eventhough Action Images is a British company. Regardless this is the checklist with images of the 94 World Cup except the first one. There is a stupid caption for each photograph which i will not include here. Not sure if this is a complete set.

@ Aztecs2Galaxy

Thanks for the lists, they're great. I'm compiling checklists of soccer cards from around the world. I have lists from all over Europe, South America, China, Japan, Russia, Mexico, etc.

I think I've got the complete list of USA Sportscaster cards, and all the UK ones too. I've got lists of Sportscaster cards from France, Italy, Germany and Denmark, but they aren't complete.

@ sthoemke

As for the 1993 and 1994 Upper Deck World Cup sets, I think I've got them all - the MinuteMaid set missing from the lists I did is an oversight on my part. I had to do a lot of 'weeding' to get those lists looking like that. I must have deleted the MinuteMaid set by mistake.

The only 1994 Upper Deck set I know of that I don't have a checklist for is the McDonalds series of 54 cards issued in Switzerland....

I live in Wales and collect SOCCER cards. I've always had an interest in the NASL and collect cards of many players including Giorgio Chinaglia (Cosmos).

I have, for many years, compiled checklists of card sets. I have a huge pile of information on NASL cards, and other US soccer cards from MISL, MLS, etc.

There are a lot of sets that I am still trying to complete checklists for and thought I'd include details of these here, just in case someone else collects these cards and can help me with completing the checklists for my database.

The sets I'm looking for information for are:

Year .. .. .. Team .. .. .. Issuer/Sponsor

1978 .. .. .. Dallas Tornado (coins) .. .. .. Dr. Pepper

Hi Alan,

The 1978 Dallas Tornado coin set consists of:

11 Coins

George Ley
Kenny Cooper
Kevin Kewley
Neil Cohen
Kyle Rote, Jr.
Steve Pecher
Glenn Myernick
Al Miller
Tony Bellinger
Jimmy Ryan
Roy Turner

The set appears to be a children's fan club promotion jointly put out by Dr. Pepper and Burger King.

I'm not sure how I ended up with this since I'm not really a soccer fan.

Regards,

- MachineDr

This is a stellar thread.

Well done, lads.

I will keep an eye out for any oddball soccer-related.
