2012 Ace Authentic Grand Slam Tennis 3

This set is to be released in the next few weeks and I've heard rumours it may be the last set produced by Ace Authentic.

Is anybody else busting some boxes? And is there info on the checklist yet?

Ace has confirmed that there will be no more products containing tennis balls (such as 07 Reserve, Ace Authentic auto balls series 1-3, etc.) Ace really messed up with their 2007 Reserve product by packaging the cards HORRIBLY! I would say about 90% of the cards I received from that product was knicked, scuffed, or bent because of the thin cases they shoved them in to.

I dont plan to pop a box (they are like $160.00!). I was lucky enough to go 3/5 on the 2010 authentic auto balls series 3 (Djokovic, Federer, Sharapova, Courier, and Querrey). I just need Nadal and Murray and I will be set

although this may count as a group break so we'd have to see if it violates any rules of group breaking. we would obviously get it from blowout though. if you're down then i'll put it up in the group breaks for a single box break if we get 3 people we could do 55/person and each person gets 2 packs. just peaking some interest

there are 6 packs. so we can split between 2 people 3 packs/a piece.. or we can get 3 and 2 packs/a piece.. or we can even get 6 people and 1 pack each.

yeah so 2 autos per pack and 1 mem... we have approx 1:3 chance of getting a 1/1 art card.. and the rest of the odds for certain things are on the sell sheet. so no matter what we'll get some cool stuff. So the fewer people in this break, the better odds that we'll all walk away with something good. The way i'd do it is randomize 1-6.. and i'm sure the packs are stacked or in individual boxes like Aces or Ace EX. so we'll count front to back. see who gets what.. it'll all be done live so no sketchy business.

Well we're not doing the box break.anymore... But im down to still do it if someones interested!
We can wait to gather.interest for the case break... I say we get 6 people. Each person gets a pack from each box... so you will be getting 10 packs total...20 autos and 10 mems per person and itll cost like 250/person less than $10/card

These have finally been released with over 600 items on ebay but the big shame to me is that I haven't seen any Andy Murray cards so he is more than likely not in the set

Yeah the product incorporates a huge variety of WTA and ATP players the average tennis fan hasn't heard of. The cards look good but most are not direct card autos (they are holograms). As of now I am not impressed one bit.

Thankfully there has been some Murray autograph cards in the celebrity and athlete collection so I've purchased one of them from ebay

I'd love one of the art cards in my box which will arrive during the week so here's to hoping

Do you know what the odds are of pulling the 1/1 printing plates? I can't find that anywhere.

I haven't seen any specific odds but I would say they are around 2 per case, possibly 3.

There is still no checklist which is a shame but the set has far too many lesser known players, this seems to be a hit or miss product

Oh ok, I just purchased 3 cards from a guy and one was a 1/1 Feliciano Lopez yellow plate. Just wondering the rarity. Would you be interested in splitting a box? Or doing a case break?

I love printing plates but I'm a big fan of the sketch cards and celebrity/athlete cut auto's from this set, I think the wood borders work very well.

If I hadn't just bought the Murray then I would have been all for it but with college in a couple weeks I need to be tight with my cash.

If my box goes well I may go for a split box break with you but for now I'll just wait and see

I still have to see guys, $55 is alot after spending $170 on a box and another $100 on the Murray. If you 2 want to go ahead I wish ye the best of luck just dont pull any federer
