Starting to lean towards tossing everything up as a BIN/BO, even though I hate those, rather than trying to strategically list everything(especially multiples of certain people).

Anybody with multiples or 20+ autos got any other bright ideas?

just tried listing a bunch of base sets, but Ebay cancelled them for being duplicate listings...guess I have to list them as a fixed price to get the quatity to change...

Just list it all with a BIN/BO and do the "quantity" option for same types of cards. You can then accept offers for multiples.

Or, you can do an experiment and do some with high starting prices and let them run and BIN/BO so you get the best of both worlds!

figured the 100 ct boxes might be too big for a bubble mailer...

maybe split into 2 50 ct boxes so its flatter...gotta test one and check the weight

Anyone know the approximate weight of the pin/medal cards? I'm new to paypal labels and don't want to mess up by not putting enough postage

im just placing the label on the box itself. no mailer involved.

Wow! I hope you are doing free shipping. Otherwise watch your DSR!
How much is it to ship just the box like that?

I gonna do three team bags between cardboards in bubble mailer with free shipping.

Looks like people are starting to list their autos...

Just a heads up to thos holding Liukin autos. She will be on NBC as an "analyst" and (I follow her on twitter) she will be very "visible" shall we say on the broadcasts so that should help her autos sell even though she's not in the competition.

I've been following this thread, pretty interesting to see the amount of people with the same idea. No matter how much everyone makes, everyone should make decent money. Good job to everyone for planning ahead!

DSR = Detailed Seller ratings (where you get rated on communication, shipping, etc)

Just putting cards in a 100 ct cardboard box doesn't provide much protection during shipping, so depending on what you are charging for shipping, the buyer may expect a little more protection or if the cards are damaged, ding you on your DSR's....

This is absolutely true. Starting to see increases of 10-20% already over just a week ago.

So whats the consensus with BIN vs Auction? I like auction because the Olympics is the ideal situation for a bidding war. Problem is when sellers use BIN and they set a ceiling for a certain card despite the fact they might be underselling. Unrelated but has anyone started to list anything?

Problem with auctions is timing and figuring out exactly when to sell what, especially for someone like myself with multiples of certain people(5 Missy, 5 Lochte). Don't want to flood the market with my cards but at the same time, you could have people who don't want to fool with BIN/BO and just pass up those particular listings when the prices are at their peak.

1/3 day auctions scheduled to end when the athletes competition ends or the day after. Simple as that, lol not really. Let it ride. Once the actual games start we will have a better idea of what we're up against and how to prepare.

Well, I just tried to wrap up one set to see how it went. At first I put three teams bags with cards for the set in between two cardboards and tried to tape it up. It was no good. The bags were sticking to the tape even with the cardboard pieces being bigger than the cards and bags.

I ended up putting the team bags on top of one piece of cardboard and bubble wrapped the whole thing. Barely fit into a size 0 bubble mailer. Total weight was around 8 oz.

Good to know...Thanks....

I wish COMC would show completed sales....I know some people had a bunch of Relics on there and I don't see them anymore, just wondering if COMC or Ebay is the better option

Alex Morgan has two goals in Team USA's 4-2 win over France. Not a bad way to start the Olympics.

Women's soccer Olympic play started today, so you officially can chalk up two Olympic goals for Alex Morgan.

Also, for anyone who has Shawn Johnson cards:
