Well, when you're not "on the field" and just reporting on the sidelines (if that's the case)...it's hard for your cards to go up in value.

So, the top autos in terms of sale price are:

1. Lochte
2. Phelps
3. Franklin
4. Morgan
5. Wieber

Anyone near or above the $100 mark that I'm missing?

Definitely. Funny that we were getting pissed at each others bids of 'overpaying' at 35-40ish and now look at them.

I just sold my Lochte Sports Royalty because I feared it wouldn't compete with the Topps Olympics Autos. Could very well be wrong and sold too quick but I'm still making profit.

Lolo Jones is probably the closest to the Top 5. I imagine that NBC emphasizing her story will help prices even if she doesn't win gold

No, Hope Solo! If the team goes on a run I can''t imagine where the prices would be for the 3 autos in the set. Also look out for Aly Raisman.

got a couple around $50, which I still think is decent considering the chances that the womens team has for gold...anything more than $60 and I'm out

I think some of the men track & field guys could jump next. Still plenty of room to grow in guys like LaShawn Merritt.

I agree there is room to grow, but I don't see too big of a jump. Track takes a backseat to swimming and the fact that there aren't really any stars for the USA deterred me from any investments in track & field. Biggest US star will probably be Ashton Eaton and he doesnt have any cards

She didn't make the team. Took too much time off to be a "Spokesmodel" as opposed to train for 2012. She's pretty much done and it won't gain much in value. IMHO

The biggest autos as far as resale will be

1. Womens Gymanstics
2. Mens/Womens Swimming
3. Womens Soccer
4. Everything else

Just don't be in a hurry to sell, we're still 3.5 weeks away from the games, they're only gonna go up, UP, UP!
