I'm surprised Misty May-Treanor Autos are so low. Beach Volleyball was one of the most popular events last olympics. Definitely a buyers market for her autos IMO

Once the games start, it'll all go up again as the hype will be everywhere...question is, do you sell at the start of the games or roll the dice and hope they medal

How much can prices really go up? I think we're approaching hype prices right now for some of the autos and considering the market flood, hmm...

The big question is when to sell your stuff. I have like 35 hits that i'd need to keep track of. If you guys have looked at the schedules, not fun researching when certain sports are hitting.

Every poster should be assigned one athlete to find the best date for selling.

Yeah but there's a Lochte auto at $180 with numerous bids. I think interest has died down because everybody's holding and Ginter just came out. I think we're victims of a hype machine.

I think interest is temporarily fading because the trials are done, so the athletes are no longer dominating TV. Don't panic, the opening ceremonies are just two weeks away, and NBC actually starts their coverage two days before that.

On second thought, everyone panic and sell me your autos at half book.

I know all these auto's are going high with trials and will again when the olympics come along but what about the worn relics? Will they not rise too?

They will/should, but the crazy multipliers will be on the autos no doubt.

She's had autos in multiple products for multiple years. It's the athletes who have 1 or 2 autos out that are gonna sell higher.

Thats great. Yeah auto's are the big ones but I'm a relic lover. I just love the Tyson Gay relics which have pieces of his spike he wore during one of his races

No, COMC. I've got through almost a whole case now and I had everything marked up 2-3x book value waiting for the olympics to start, and the stuff started selling.. I've done very well with Olympics stuff. Hindsight = wishes he ordered 3 cases now.

yeah...you got your stuff up there pretty early...no sense in sending anything to them now unless you pay for 1 week processing...

although, that is a thought, still would be cheaper than paying out fees on a sale on ebay....hmmmmmm

Sold an Arielle Martin Verhaaren on COMC a couple weeks back for $50. No offers -- I just threw it up there figuring why not and the dude just snagged it. They'd been selling for well under $20 on eBay (and I think I saw a few listings where they were under $10)...but hey, I'm not complaining!

Yup I am 99 % sure. I too am an athlete here in Ireland, triple jump actually and I have the same spikes from the same series as Gay uses and the swatch I have is red and white and feels exactly the same. If people knew it was part of his spike I think it would sell better

Ireland rules. It's my 2nd favorite country. My grandmother, a McDermott was from there.

I think sometimes people pay a little more on COMC as well since they have store credit and it doesn't feel like they are using money outta paypal or anything...like I have accumulated a whopping $300, and not sure what I want to buy
