Ya when the product first came out, I thought I overspent on Missy Franklin autos when I paid $30. Just sold one for $215. With that said, I'm still buying if anyone wants to sell

I didn't expect Missy's autos to go up so fast.

And she still has the chance to qualify in her signature event on Sunday (200m back). If she gets that, she'll be swimming in seven events in London.

Looks like we'll see our first price drops on Liukin and Sacramone autos (among others).

Both are actually pretty easy on the eyes so that sucks from a viewership point of view!

I was hemming and hawing saturday night on picking up 2 Aly Raisman autos for $50 each...decided to try and get one by bidding, max on one at $40...well, lost the 2 BIN and the one I was bidding on ended at $51...kicking myself since she did make the team....

Yeah, I got lucky that I didn't pickup and Liukin or Sacramone autos. Aly WAS my girl cause her prices were cheap compared to her talent but alas, prices doubled overnight!

I'm glad I was able to pickup the $24.99 BIN on her auto the other night!

Yeah, I got a good price on a sacramone a few weeks ago, gonna see what happens with the prices, but it wouldn't be so bad to just keep it at the price I got it for

I think the some of the non-Olympians will still hold most of their value. Former medalists like Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin probably will get picked up by NBC as commentators. Having face time on TV as well as their previous Olympic highlights being re-broadcast should keep them in the forefront of people's minds.

As popular as the trials were, I'm sure that there were a ton of people who had no idea they were going on. Viewership of the actual Olympics will dwarf that of the trials, as casual sports fans and non sports fans tune in.

Plus, people are known to do crazy things with their money when a gold medal (or a championship) is on the line.

I'm just going to start going for the "second tier" autos and let the crazy people bid up the "top guys". I'm sure once those second tier guys/gals wins some medals, they will be up there as well!

I still think there is room for growth. Like others have said, the Olympics is one of the most watched sporting events and everyone wants a piece of the action if the USA or an athlete does well. Even if everyone dumps off their autos at the same time, there are going to be way more buyers out there. Plus its not like the print run of the autos is that high or so it seems. I have a case incoming this week. Hopefully I get lucky

Would you guys sit on hobby boxes of this or rip and flip? Case prices jumped about $100 in the last week or so, I imagine it will dry up and jump again in 2-3 weeks.

Out of the three or four packs I opened, I pulled a Jerome Singleton auto. Apparently, Paralympics participants aren't experiencing the same luxury...

I searched on ebay completed auctions for Missy Franklin Olympic autos and got sick to my stomach seeing ones that ended in May...oh if I only knew...wow...the % profit would have been amazing!

I bought a case of this stuff 2 months ago when it came out and have made a killing with it. Even base cards are selling well.

I was excited a month and change ago when I pulled Liukin from a box. After that faceplant into the mat, not so much. Hitting Lezak, Jenner, and Bausch was cool though.

I still think there's room for some profit, even at the prices cases are going for now.

My guess is that NBC is going to play up the Wieber-Douglas rivalry as Johnson-Liukin Part II, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Johnson and Liukin get a LOT of camera time during the gymnastics broadcasts.
