The last time I bowled was on a business trip to Trollhatan Sweden this Spring. Something seemed cool about bowling in a foreign country.

He was lying, he got his arise kicked

We went to Brighton Bowllast night. He doesn't bowl in leagues, but I bowl in one at striking lanes. My average is down to 190 due to a number of changes. It gets depressing lol

Shot a 288 last night. Pretty mad about that.

Anyone have any success lately?

I bowl in a Friday night league. It's 32 weeks long - split in 2 halfs.

Average is 201. Not much else to do during a long Buffalo winter.

I use to work at a bowling center. Haven't bowled in league for about 5 years but have (3) 300 games, (2) 299, a 298 and a high series of 803 all in league. I have a bunch of rings somewhere in my night stand lol

Havent bowled in a league in like 6-7 years. When i did, i started off with 1 of the cheaper start up kits (bag, ball, shoes) for like $150.

Ive never really been a fan of using all fingers, so decided to try "tips". Still i only use 2 fingers to this day.

Also for whatever reason once i started getting "serious" with my own equipment...i decided to use reverse spin. It looks awkward for the most part, but was effective for me. Especially since i could bowl "both ways" to pick up spares when needed.

Unfortunately i didnt bowl for so long, i kinda forgot i had my own equipment..ended up leaving it in my trunk during the winter...not good lol

my 4 year old daughter seems to love to bowl, so was thinking about picking up another starter kit with tax $$

The only thing bad about throwing a back up ball is that it is exremely bad for your wrist. I remember trying to do it last year with 2 hands and ended up breaking my finger lol.

Best thing about bowling is you can drink while you're doing it and burn off some of the calories.

Just came across this thread...love bowling. Have 23 sanctioned 300s....12 800s. Bowled professionally for 4 years til I blew my left knee out but still bowl a ton! If anyone is interested, I have a sweet thread in the "other sports singles sales thread" with a bunch of nice bowling autos for sale.

Shot a 264 with my new ball earlier. Probably the best I have bowled in awhile. Not score wise but accuracy and shot wise. I buried ever shot besides one that went wide. I also bowled another fake 300 today Lol
