of course especially for most people on here at a similar age Goldberg defeating Hogan for the championship with the crowd reaction and the debris being thrown in the ring is up there on everyone's list.
The rest I have clips: Chicago's reaction for Money in the Bank at the start of CM Punk's entrance through John Cena's booing (and really most of the match) Money In The Bank 2011 John Cena Vs Cm Punk Part 1/4 [HD] - YouTube Miz cashes in MIB on RAW: The Miz cashes in Money in the Bank - YouTube ECW invasion on WWE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2hKTuU5hMA and the best match that I have ever seen, HBK vs. Shawn Benjamin (my favorite wrestler of all-time) with the best Sweet Chin Music around Ending part of it HBK vs Shelton Benjamin - YouTube Last edited by duwal; 01-24-2013 at 08:07 PM. |

for me it was Andre challenging hogan on piper's pit. As a kid I couldnt believe it.
also roddy pipers retirement in 87 and they played this montage to sinatra's "My Way". I have loved that song and Sinatra's music ever since and also made Piper one of my all-time favourites. Saturday Night's Main Event #10 03/14/87 - YouTube goto 1hr2 secs for the start of the montage for me wrestling was early 80's to late nineties, basically hulkamania to the end of nWo.

3 of my favorite things of Booker T
His supermarket fight with Austin His segments with Goldust And from wcw he had a 49ers match(I think thats what it was called) against Jeff Jarrett, and he opens up one of the boxes and pulls out an auto'd picture of Scott Hall. Booker T makes a classic face when he pulls out the picture, cracks me up every time I see it.. |

Detroit, MI Cage Match. Ron Garvin Somersault off the top rope Pins Ric Flair Wins NWA Title. Place goes Beserk. Will NEVER forget it. Though he had a few years left in him, this was a nice gesture to let him win the title towards the end of his career, even if he was to just lose it a couple weeks later back to Flair. Start watching at about 1:30 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5Vx...=results_video

I remember when the camera man was so close to Kevin Nash as he tore his leg up and you could hear him screaming. Smartly all of the wrestlers got in the ring to fight one another to create a good diversion to take the attention off of Nash and Bubba Dudley actually got thrown out of the ring so he could check on Nash and pretend to attack him Kevin Nash gets injured Raw 7/8/02 - YouTube |

1996 King of the Ring
I was 7 years old and it was my first PPV ever. I had to have been in the last row of the arena in Milwaukee. The lineup was actually really decent. Mankind vs Undertaker was a great matchup. Michaels vs Bulldog was a good match and to top it off Mr. Perfect was the "special enforcer". Always a big Mr. Perfect fan. But the best thing about the show.... The beginning of Austin 3:16. |

I loved 80's and early 90's wrestling. I miss the tag team aspect of wrestling that is lacking today. And you just don't have the Cliques anymore like you used to. Some of my favorites:
Tag Teams (Midnight Express, Rockers, Rock and Roll Express, Road Warriors, Minnesota Wrecking Crew, Freebirds, Wydhams, Bush Whackers and sooooooo many more) Ric Flair of old and The Four Horsemen (it was sad to see him on Raw a few weeks ago I think he is genuinely losing it )Great Managers (Bobby Heenan, Jim Cornett, Miss Elizabeth, Teddy Long, and sooooo many more) Just all around better wrestling then too. How about Flair and Steamboat in a cage (any of them were great matches), the Rude/Jake the Snake Feud, Terry Funk and Cactus Jack, The Von Erichs (loved Texas wrestling in the afternoons when i got home from school). NWO, DX (original), Four Horsemen, The Corporation. And this generation is missing its real Icons. There are no Hogans, Flairs, Micheals, HHH, Austins, or Rocks in this group and its sad. Undertaker needs to hang em up, love him but the old dude just don't need to keep hanging around with this generation of blah.

I've got a few of these:
Best Matches Anything early Rey Mysterio Savage v Steamboat I think it was Rock v Mankind during SB halftime where he hit him like 98 times... First time I remember thinking that Foley just might die.... maybe that was a PPV after Personal Experiences Seeing Bulldog Bob Brown and Slick at some house show in a HS gym in Garden City, KS with my pops - ended with a cage match between two dudes that I have no idea who they were - Faces won ![]() Last WM in Chicago - one of the most fun experiences for my childhood side Smackdown after 1000 Raw that my GF got me on my birthday - yelling save us Doph - I don't want to see any more Sheemus the whole match or Come 'on ref that was a 3 count and my GF getting in on it not knowing why she was cheering for Dolph.... ![]() Seeing a dood named Goldberg beat McMichael at a a house show in KC and not knowing who he was Smackdown in Chicago when Jericho one IC TNA here in Dodge City, KS last year - pretty amazing these guys travel out this far for a house of 1000 maybe... Seeing Paul Wright in person - fugger his huge Wish I would have seen Punk in Chicago ROH show Glad I didn't see Owen fall in Kemper - buddy was there - I don't know how I would have reacted - especially at that young dumb age full of liquid courage. Still amazed that show went on and Brett ever came back to WWE. Damn I've seen a lot of wrestling the more I think about it - thanks for this prompting post!

My wrestling moments I will never forget:
1987 - Ricky Steamboat vs. Macho Man Randy Savage (Wrestlemania III) 1987 - Hulk Hogan vs. André the Giant (Wrestlemania III) 1992 - Bret Hart vs. The British Bulldog (Summerslam in London) 1992 - Macho Man Randy Savage vs. The Ultimate Warrior (Summerslam in London) 1993 - The Undertaker vs. Giant Gonzalez (Wrestlemania IX) 1997 - Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michael (The Montreal Screwjob) 1999 - Owen Hart falls to his death (Kansas City) ![]() IMO wrestling has changed a lot since then. In the late 80's and early 90's ANY title change was shocking and newsworthy, even if you expected it. But during this time mid-card wrestlers just didn't win titles. Today the Dolph Ziggler's, Rey Mysterio's, CM Punk's are all given world title runs to pop the crowd but back then only a select few were groomed for a WWF title. It just isn't the same anymore.
