Default Worth it to buy single boxes of 2001/2003 Golf?

My shop has 4 boxes of 2001 Sp Authentic Golf and a few boxes of 2003 Spa Golf at $99.00 a pop. I was thinking of picking them up, but would like to know how great the risk is, and if it's better to go by the case?

I'd pick up the 2001 just to hold on to.

Why is the 2003 so expensive? I thought with the Woods rookie in 2001, it would stand alone in it's own price range.
