Same 1948 Leaf design as 2012.
New artist.
Leaf working now on checklist.

Where'd you hear this? I'm ok with it either way. The 1948 design is one of my favorite designs ever.

Gorgeous. Might be why I like the blues so much in this series, haha.

Leaf posted the info on another site.

Any artist your hoping for? Isn't the guy who did Presidents for UD Goodwin an exclusive with In The Game now. I think his name is Jared Kelly.

Going to be real interesting what new signers they get. Glad they got both Bruno and Backlund on card in the 2012 set. Sure with WWE HOF deals they got now, both will be under WWE contract ruling out any deals with Leaf. Topps I'm sure will getting some sticker autos of them for 2013 WWE stuff.

Very interested to see who they line up for the new set--would be cool to see some dual tag team autos, like the Midnight Express and the Rock n' Roll Express.

This set sold like friggin hot cakes, they would be crazy not to have another set. I am happy with the news that it will be a new artist as well--Kong was fairly "hit or miss" with some of his art. The Nash base art is laughable.

Wonder if we will see Rocky Johnson cards show up in this set or even Chyna cards. Both were left out of 2012 Leaf Originals.

Two of the best artists in the hobby.

If you're talking about their base cards, his name is Paul Madden. He's been with Sportkings from the beginning and is a wonderful artist and person. I always enjoy visiting with him.

If you're talking about the painted cards, the same guy that did those wonderful Presidents from Goodwin Champions. Also a wonderful artist and person to visit with. His name is Jared Kelley and is currently exclusive with Dr. Price.

Ted would be a fantastic addition to the Leaf wrestling brand.

Anybody have any good sources in sketch trading card business and see if word is out who is working on the Leaf Wrestling set this year. Or will it be a few different guys doing it. Sure they will have alternate images again for each subject, so it's gonna be a lot of work in a short period of time. I'll see if I can dig up some info and post it here.

I have no info but personally I'd like to see a few top notch artists as opposed to just one.. This is personal opinion but it seems like Mr. Kong halfassed quite a few just to get them done.. Preferably artists who've actually followed wrestling so they have a better feel for the personalities of the guys they're sketching and incorporate them better.

I have to imagine they'll follow the same formula and go with one artist. But it would be cool to have a roster with each doing a few pieces, kind of like Topps does with Turkey Red.

Wrestlecon is coming up in April. I think last year this was where signings started to happen. Solid line up so far and few guys I bet we see in 2013 set.

Some great names signing at that show! A few particulars from the show I'd like to see in the next set are Kurt Angle, Ultimate Warrior, Jimmy Superfly Snuka and Lita for the obligatory female role lol. This is the first set to bring me into the Wrestling realm of collecting (other then some cards for my son) and though its gonna be a long tortuous wait (lol) I'm excited to see who makes the next roster!

From Wrestle Con I'd like to see in 2013 set
Warrior
Eugene
Johnny Valiant
Mr. Fuji
Ken Patera
Lee
Horwitz
Tammy Sytch
Spivey
Outback Jack
Doink and Dink
Snuka
Sandman
Danny Davis
Kevin Sullivan
Slick

Hoping Highspots brings in Dynamite Kid to promote his new DVD and have him sign there. He would be a nice get for Leaf. Not sure if he will leave the UK though.

I think Jushin Liger would be an incredible inclusion in the next set--looks like he will be at Wrestlecon.

Would love to see Demolition (Ax and Smash). Tag Team autograph cards for 2014 anyone? Van Dam, Angle, and Warrior would be great additions to 2013

I wonder if the guys currently in TNA could sign for this? The last set had no "active roster" WWE guys. Dynamite Kid would be incredible.

If they would consider Tag Team autographs . . . better have Rock n' Roll Express and the Midnight Express.

They should try to include a couple old guys before they croak, like Vern Gagne Nick Bockwinkel, and Harley Race. Mae Young would be a lot better than any modern women cards i can think of if they insist on having those again. Then fill up the rest with 80's and 90' stars who haven't signed before.
