Default Ric Flair Leaf Originals

After scooping up the Ric Flair Black 1/1 of off of Ebay and completing a few trades on here. I was happy to open the mail yesterday and recieve the final piece to the puzzle. A plate would be a nice additon, but I am pretty happy with my Ric Flair base art collection.

Has the other black Flair been pulled?

If the other Flair has been pulled and went on Ebay or online somewhere I missed it. I really doubt it would be something I would pursue anyways, but you never know. If it pops up buy it now $200 like the base did, I am all over it.

I would consider this Flair set finished. Even without a Plate. It is very impressive and one of a kind.

Very solid set and arguably probably the best of ones to collect... as far as mass appeal. Hogan is more recognizable but more in that Dennis Rodman way, Flair is still remembered as the styling and profiling heel (reference was made to him on Fox sports yesterday morning)....

Great set!

That's actually one of the better illustrations in the set.

I think the robe Flair is wearing helps the base art out base tremendously as it's the robe I most remember him wearing for whatever reason. (I know he debuted in it in the WWF/WWE so perhaps that's why even though I'd seen Flair wrestle for years in the NWA/WCW). If not for the familiar robe however, the facial art on the base Flair IMHO is some of the weaker in the set along with the Nash base art and "smiling Sid" base art. Frankly this set would look a lot better as a whole if each guy had just one card as they each seem to have one art version that's decent to pretty good and another that is below average to horrible.

Default Wow.

It really does look like The Rock, Unbelievable when you cover up the hair. I loved The 4 Horsemen, primarily Flair on the mic.
