Well it depends on what you would plan on doing with it ....
If you sitting on it I think it's gonna be abit yet before the supply on these dries up ..... probably not a long time but compared to the almost no-existant hobby cases there's still a decent supply of the retail boxes/cases out there ( or at least seem to be) ....

As far as ripping goes this is a real nice product .....
You could get a complete base set ($ 40 book) and a complete Major Champions set ($ 25) out of 2 boxes plus have some extras so I'd figure about 11-12 complete sets so there's about $ 720 in book just in the sets plus you'll have extras of the LPGA rookie cards like Annika, Ochoa, Lopez, Pak, Gulbis, Kerr, Webb and others ......
Then you'll get 1 memorabilia card per box plus 2 of the boxes should have the Game Gear Birdie Dual shirt/auto cards (1@200 packs with 480 packs in the case) ..... obviously the Tiger, Sorenstam, Palmer, Nicklaus & Garcia versions are SP'd but hey you never know ..... I think you should get 1 or 2 of the Triple shirt cards and 2-3 of the Double shirt cards ..... the Fairway Futures shirt cards are pretty darn weak as it's a pretty bad checklist for that set (as far as having any big PGA winners on it) .....
so you're roughly looking at about 14-15 regular shirt cards , 3-5 dual/triple shirt cards and 2 dual shirt/auto cards .... pretty decent .....
I've thought about rippin' a case trying for a nice birdie auto card but have so much stuff now I have'nt pulled the trigger yet ....
If you decide to get one and bust it I'd like to see how you do ....

yes they made both retail and hobby versions ......
the main differences are that hobby boxes had 2 memorabilia cards per box plus they have the World Powers memorabilia cards which in my opinion are very, very nice looking cards ...... personally in the WP cards were'nt hobby only I probably would have cracked a couple cases by now cause those are one of my favorite memorabilia cards ....

Yes Tiger is in both the dual and triple shirt cards available in retail boxes/cases and in 2 others as well ...... if you go on the UD website you can find the entire checklist , just remember that the World Powers are hobby only .......

Like I said the hobby version is a tough find --- you might find some boxes batting around but hobby cases are very tough and they would be 12 box cases .....
