I posted this in another post, but I am quite proud. I started with only having a yellow base and then landed the black. I was then able to complete a few trades and fill out the set. It took a lot of energy and a few trips to the post office, but it was worth it in the end.

Today's mail brought the final piece to a Koko b. Ware base master. As you can probably tell, I really love the leaf originals. Best set ever for me personally being an old wrestling fan and the timing of the whole thing was excellent.

Once owned this signed on the front and the back by Randy Savage...

...but THIS is my most prized wrestling related item...

Met Davey Boy Smith at a WWF Event at the Canadian National Exhibition back in 1996 and got Dynamite Kid through his website back when "Pure Dynamite" came out.

I have a Bret Hart 87 topps PSA 9 mint. I Would pay a ton of money for a PSA 10 Gem. Also he has a 87 OPC version that would bring big $$$$ if someone came up with a PSA 10 Gem.

When you say a ton of money how much are you talking?

Just bust open some boxes until you get one. I got boxes of 87 for like 6 a piece and was pulling 3 to 4 harts per.

The 1987 Topps set is tough in a PSA 10.

This arrived today, I gave up quite a bit in trade for it, but thought it would be nice to go along with the card set.

For a 87 topps Hart PSA 10, I would pay over $150.00 and for a 87 OPC Hart PSA 10, I would pay over $200. Considering Topps cards are mass produced and its a wrestling card. If one of either even existed and it came up for auction and I had to pay more for it I would. Bret doesn't even have a 87 topps PSA 10 or OPC version thats a PSA 10, I am referring to his card that is #1 in the set.

Today I sent a 87 OPC Hart out to be graded, maybe it will be a 8.5, or 9, best case scenario. I busted a box of 87 OPC wwf a few weeks ago and only pulled 1 Bret Hart. That box cost over $50. They are very hard to come by and the cards are not centered and are very sensitive. I also sent out a 98 wcw topps auto of Bret Hart today. I am hoping that comes back at least an 8. When I get the cards back I will post pics.

Good luck on the Bret Hart OPC. That is good information to know that you only pulled one from a box. I have a feeling that if an OPC Bret Hart PSA 10 surfaced the first one would go for more then $200.

Centering on so many wrestling cards are brutal and the graded example prices in many cases do not reflect how difficult many are in mint or higher.

I think you are making a very smart move to get your WCW Bret Hart Graded. If they are NM-MT or higher I think you win. If someone doesn't want it in the holder they are easy to crack out and you know that the card is nice for sure.

Just got these back from PSA. This is Andre the Giants first actual card. I'm thrilled that I finally got these in a psa slab.

You should start an Andre the Giant Master set on the PSA Registry. It might take some time to finish the set but it would be nice to show it off and hopefully help wrestling cards get some deserved recognition.

Thanks! You certainly know the wrestling card market so that's good news... Unfortunately the condition isn't super high end. I've been looking to buy these up over the past year and these were the best that I've came across. I only have one other Andre #29 and its a bgs 2.5 with a huge crease in the middle. The centering is also really tough. Most of the cards I have seen have some of the next card on the sheet showing. If a psa 8 or better Andre ever surfaces it would be a huge card I think. There are also gold foil "winner" cards which are even harder to find than the base cards. I've never seen one but if one of those of Andre cards ever surfaces it would be up there with a psa 10 82 all stars.
