I prefer PSA, partly because their POP report is public.

At the PSA luncheon Joe Orlando said one of the best moves they have ever made was making all of the content on their website public. Traffic to their site exploded and content helps drive business.

If you have ever tried to look up a card on Beckett's website you will know just how hard to find many cards are. I spent 15 minutes recently trying to help a guy with a 1987 Panini BGS 9 Mike Tyson population and finally gave up. Not good.

That is awesome grade on the Doink Heritage, those cards in that set are very condition sensitive.

Has anyone ever figured out what Doink did the signing for Topps on those cards?

Thought I'd add this...

Kane came to the station where I worked at the time to promote a local Smackdown show. Hung out with us for 2 1/2 hours and was one of the coolest, most interesting people I ever met. Mostly talked about basketball and politics... we didn't even talk about wrestling!

Anyway, I didn't have any cards to take - I had recently moved and they were packed - but I had my See No Evil DVD and the Jakks Big Head figure. He laughed when he saw the Big Head but signed both items for me. So, a unique item signed and a great memory to attch to it.

Looks like it is an in-person autograph.

Back in the wwf heyday, i was a hardcore Kurt Angle collector. Gave it all up when i moved a decade ago. Moved back and started to get back into wrestling again, and got my first figure in over ten years - of CM Punk. Definitely wanted the figure with The Best in the World shirt. But was bugged that they didnt have his pepsi or cobra tattoos. So i ordered a set of decals off ebay and put em on. Looks pretty good.

But i would rather put all of my efforts into my Bagwell collection, so i am entertaining offers for it if anyone is interested.

I was able to pick up two new John Cena printing plates over the last few weeks.

This is pretty sick looking finally all put together. If anyone has a plate they want to trade someday, let me know.

I finally completed the 2010 Topps WWE Platinum Maryse Plate Set:

host image

I have the base, refractor, X-Fractor (retail only), green, blue, and gold parallels. All I'm missing is the red 1/1. If anyone sees or knows where the red 1/1 is, please let me know!

Thanks!
