MLS is fun as hell and I go to games sometimes, I'm just not sure there's a lot of resale value in an MLS product since there are so few "names." Maybe I'll pick up some Union singles on eBay. I can see myself opening a box of this on the cheap in the future and having a blast with it.

It's easy to get excited about an ambitious EPL/CL/FIFA/whatever-licensed product, though. Panini sticker albums are close enough that I think consumers outside of North America can be nudged toward something higher end/higher price point with "hits." Depending on licensing I can also see the chase of cards from young players playing in youth teams or obscure leagues (an easy example would be that Halilovic who almost went to Spurs) blowing up for the same reasons prospecting did in baseball. Football Manager already exists as a huge source of hype for that kind of stuff.
