why does the desciption say slambalaya card?

I bet the seller claims it was a listing mistake, and it is back up again for $5,000.00 BIN/BO.

Thank goodness it is a manufactured patch- saves me a whole lot of money, lol.

Jsut an example of people not knowing what they have.

Yes, it is a manufactured patch....but its a Tiger Woods auto #/d to 4 in a chase/expensive set. Its worth far more than what was paid.

It'll probably get more when re-listed, but it appears to me the auto is smudged (or faded in parts) and off center, so the seller might have taken that into account. Between that and the manufactured patch, I can think of better ways to spend 1500 bucks even on Tiger Woods cards.

HUGE mistake by the seller. Heck, he's selling is auto'd flag (#/500) for the same price

If he had put a $4,999 BIN on the this, being the 1st out, it would have gone. There are some crazy LL collectors out there, and this is the card they are waiting on.

Two things here.

#1) The patch is manufactured ... the card is junk IMO, pretty pointless. It's basically like having plastic chrome spinning hubcaps on a Bentley.

#2) The seller is a scumbag. I won a card from them and got a great deal at auction. I pay instantly via Paypal. 3 days later they email me saying they sold the card in the shop and were refunding my $$$ .... awesome, huh?!

Would it have been that hard to get a Nike shirt from Tiger and use the swatch as a patch on a card or 2 instead of charging an exorbitant amount of money for a set then putting a manufactured patch on the supposed best cards?

This. Four plain pieces of tournament-used shirt would have been much better than four manufactured "patches". Hell even that silver golf bag or towel would have been better than something Tiger never even saw before he signed the cards.

From the perspective of a big Tiger collector- I have no interest in it- manufactured patch = not worth collecting.

The manufactured patch is disappointing. Seems like it would have been pretty easy to take the Nike swoosh or TW logo off of a shirt. But even if they were out of those, a hat or glove would have worked better too...

I think I've seen 4-5 of the RPA's including the one I pulled and they all have a silver patch. Some have said it's the golf bag but I'm not sure if it has been confirmed. I actually think it may be a slice of a club but I don't want to push on it too hard... I love the card I pulled but again, they probably should have stuck to something multi-colored here since there was only a need to produce 25 of these.

Most of the other autographs rock... I'd be disappointed with the towels and am lukewarm on the bag but at least the swatches look cool so far.

It seems like there is a lot now but over time, I think there is great value here. If I'm correct, MJ signed 50 of each base card from the original Master Collection set (Bulls) and now, they are really hard to find. It looks like there are 80 1/1's of the base set. The other signatures on skecth cards, booklets, etc. all look real nice.

Overall, I'm hoping to pick up a few more auto's so I have more variety but I couldn't have asked for much more...

Yeah. The entire set has a lot of low points. Driver cards. Golf bag cards. Meh, there are plenty of other Tiger cards out there that look much better. Hell, I'd rather go after one of The Cup autos than any of the cards in the Tiger Master Collection. The only remotely interesting cards in the set are the booklet autos with Jack and some of the cuts.
