Default TW Master Collection Dilemma

I have a box coming today and I'm not sure what I should do with it.

I am a huge Tiger fan and this collection to me is the awesome. It's just so damn expensive and I definitely need to recoup some of the cost.

So what do I do? Break it and sell off some of the hits or do I save the unopened box until he starts winning some more events and majors and sell it?

Thanks in advance.

Don't see the value in breaking it now. He will win another major one day--I'd hold it sealed for that.

It really depends on what you are looking for ... if you want a Tiger auto (or memorabilia auto) for your own personal collection, then I would bust and hope for something nice and sell off the rest. That way you recoup some money and if you hit something big, you have the choice to sell it or keep it.

I figured that these sets are so high anyways, you may not see them go up much more unless he does go on a Majors streak and pass Jack.

Unfortunately, Tiger is measured on not how many tourneys he wins, but how many Majors he wins.

I split with a friend of mine and we actually did pretty good but got it at a very good price so we couldn't lose ... slambalaya, 1/1 auto, /8 Auto Golf Bag, Auto Pin Flag

Thanks for the responses. Having the box right in front of me is so tempting to break.
This is tough.

Break it. You only live once, have some excitement. You didn't buy this to flip, there are much better tiger investments out there.

I'd say break it, then if you are looking to resell the pieces hold on to them. Market is pretty saturated right now with the bag/towel/shirt autos.

on the bright side, there's still a lot of big hits that haven't surfaced yet. after seeing the preliminary checklist there's still a lot of booklets that should do well.
