So who got them? I thought that Macho Man was a steal!!! If I didn't have a 9, I would of taken a hard run at it.

WOW!!! Didn't expect those prices.

$3,827.00 BRITISH BULLDOG Autographed WCW/NWO wrestling Card
$2,091.88 Booker T Autographed Wrestling Card WCW/NWO 1998

Is that the record now for a wrestling card?

If you bidded, you can view your bid history to view the winners.

3.8K has to be a record for a wrestling card. The only thing that made me nervous about the British Bulldog card is that the way he signed the card is so far from the way he normally signed. Its not even close. And considering the card was probably signed at some show jst makes me question the authenticity.

that Andre 9 has to be a thousand dollar card. Maybe $800 on a bad day.

What do you think an Andre PSA 10 would go for?

If I had a 10 I would not sell it. I don't think the market has caught up to the value of the Andre card.

It would be very fascinating to see what an Andre PSA 10 would go for. I hope to see the day! I have no idea what I would do if I got it. I could go either way if I had a PSA 9 (my current best) as a backup.

If you are considering US-only trading cards, then the WCW Main Event card should be the rookie.

If you are considering standard-size/non-game cards then the WCW magazine should be considered the rookie.

It's really only a manner of preference, which I think is one of the fun aspects of wrestling cards. (other sports also have the same "issue")
I just picked up set of these. Does anyone know what the different sting card is?

The Sting you have pictured is the "Wildcard" and is double printed.

The other Sting cards are A1, A2, A3, A4 and the cover card.

As a side question regarding Sting, there is a 1991 WCW Championship Marketing "Promo" card on ebay which depicts Sting. How rare were these Championship Marketing promo cards?

Sthoemke should be able to answer that one....... looks like a huge shot in the dark at the current asking price.

I'd consider the 1991 WCW Championship Marketing promos "tough to find" but that might be due to the fact they look just like the regular cards and don't have any writing to identify them as promos. They are simply unnumbered. I'm not sure how they were distributed, but I think the set of 12 promos was initially packaged together.

It's rare that you hear Moolah and looks good in the same sentence.

This one didn't last long on EBAY.

A very impressive price for a PSA 5 and further evidence that this is a monster wrestling card.

Did it really go for 300? Or what was the best offer if you don't mind my asking? 300 seems steep for a 5 of any card that isn't at least 60 years old. The 9 in retrospect may have been a steal for 600. I know part of me wishes I bought it as I don't see any others coming any time soon from my observations of that magazine now.

The other magazine card I don't see a high grade coming out of is the 1995 "In Action" HHH. The 1996 portrait shot is a hit or miss but there are higher grade copy possibilities due to its placement on its uncut sheet, the in action though is in a bad spot.

I posted the link to the EBAY Singapore site where you can still see best offer prices. The card sold for $150.

Odd doesnt show on my iPhone, but 150 is an outstanding price for a 5 of a modern card no matter how rare.

I figured it'd be listed for a 100 at most when I saw the grade here, but goes to show if you ask enough and your card is hard enough to find you can get the price you want.
